DESCRIPTION
Though not on such a scale as the Kuat Drive Yards or the Sienar Fleet Systems, the Eriadu Manufacturing shipyards have a long standing reputation as one of the outer rim's more succesful corporate businesses in terms of manufacturing starships and several other technological components. Over time though, they have managed to make a name for themselves in the creation and manufacturing of all sorts of repulsorlifts and interstellar craft mainly for civilian use [though there were instances of militaryand combat production during the galactic empire's reign as well]. Under the reign of the combined vision of both the Houses Tarkin and Nargath, the company has also expanded in more general industrial technologies, such as Manufacturing hyperdrives and engines for all sorts of spacecraft and land vehicles, allowing for multiple smaller companies to more cost-efficiently build vehicles without needing to experiment on the engine components or hyperdrives.
RATIONALE
After the Galactic Civil war, Eriadu, though wealthy, still was in need of fresh credits being pumped into its economy. It is here that House Nargath enters the picture. They had been dealing through political scheming to gain wealth and political power, as recognition of their ambition, the family had been raised from mere wealthy barons to the status of a Marquisade, effectively making them second to only the Tarkin family on planetary level. Because of their mercantile influence and contacts, House Nargath was one of the prime benefactors to Eriadu's resurgence and economic rise within the outer rim.
With some clever political and mercantile savvy, they managed to force a restructuring of the most important asset of the planet and the later Eriadu Ascendancy faction, managing to take the main shareholder stake in the Eriadu Manufacturing Shipyards as part of their restoration campaign. After the death of Arcon Nargath, the shares were transferred into ownership of the new Marquis of the House Nargath: Credius, who granted the executive power over this stake and management of the assets that came with it to his younger brother Willhuff Nargath.
The company follows the doctrine of the Eriaduan Ascendancy, allowing for the leader of the faction to have a huge say in any and all of its matters, though uniformly it is in essence no longer a state, but a family owned company under curatorship of Willhuff Nargath and ownership of Credius Arcosius Nargath.
