Escape from Glee Anselm

Somewhere in the Glee Anselm System
Prisoner Transport "R201"
Approximately One Year Ago

The air that flowed through the circulatory system of the transport vessel was nothing more than the swift scent of purgatory, viciously repeated, over the few minutes since their departure from Glee Anselm. The sleek, metallic, transport was little more than a one way trip to the rest of Kalous' life in chains and behind a force cage. The well-lit force cage that he had begun his journey in was far too cramped for a man of his size and physical stature but he wasn't getting any breaks for his claim to fame and local popularity. If anything, Kalous had wrought a heavy-handed sentence by a judge that had seen fit to prove a point against the rich and famous. So much for the "good life."

Clip, clop, clip, clip. The audible motions of boots walking down the slender corridor had a purposeful stride interwoven into their steps. It wasn't until the noise stopped, and the sound was replaced by the heavy heaving of a Nautolan corrections officer with a few hundred extra pounds on his frame, that Kalous opened his eyes from his brief meditation to see that his fate was about to take an unexpected twist into the unknown. Reaching out--with what little length the officer had between his large stomach and the end of his hand--he opened the force cage and motioned for Kalous to stand and walk in front of him.

With his eyes darting to create a mental picture of his journey, Kalous began to become excited and nervous from the intensity that he could feel weigh upon his shoulders. This force of weight that was--seemingly--pressing down upon his muscled frame was nothing that he hadn't experienced before. This same feeling was that of the opening day match, the shock and awe of the crowd, the pressure to succeed, to win at all costs, to walk straight into harm's way in order to prove that you were fearless in the face of the competition. This feeling, however, began to turn awry as Kalous was directed into a darkened room that was lit by a single red light that was affixed just above the doorway that he had just walked through.

"Sit," the overweight guard said with a motion toward the single chair that was placed in the middle of the room.

Without a word, Kalous took a handful of steps before sitting down as he was instructed. No other words, or sounds, were uttered by either of the two men before the guard walked away to leave Kalous alone in the room that could end up being a place to hide an indecent act or two. What was Kalous in store for and would he make it out in one piece?
