Asani Windsong
Character
Asani had wandered onto the scene of what at first had seemed to be a friendly gathering with music and dancing which suddenly devolved into death and disorder. One moment she was happily playing along with the music, the next her ears were up and alert while her fur took on a bright blue shade. As the frightened Kushiban ran for her life in a panicked state, she was unsure where to go, just that anyplace seemed better than 'here'. Fortunately, she soon ran into a Lasat woman, whose gentle voice calmed her from a state of terror to just frightened. She did as the woman told her, and took a few deep breaths, while trying to calm down and control her emotions, as now in a moment of clarity, she knew that running in terror among the rest of the frenzied crowd was not where she wanted to be.
Her tail flicked upward a few times as she looked up at the Lasat woman, her voice timid and fearful still as she spoke. "My… my name is Asani." She introduced herself and stayed close to her as she gazed toward the one she had shared a moment of staring with. "Is that tall male with the horns your friend?" She asked as she looked back towards the woman. While she awaited a response, she quickly checked her cloth pouch, making sure her flute was still inside and not broken, looking quite relieved to find it intact. Whatever the answer, she would follow the woman to safety as she tried her best to put the distressing scene she had just witnessed physically and mentally behind her.
