[+] The so-called Sword of the Citadels and the Defender of the Homeland did not have these titles simply dropped into lap. Time and time again Eshre has proven himself to be a capable and ferocious fighter, spurned on by personal fears of what would become of his people if he were to falter or perish. To this end, the Supreme Commander has spent most of his time fine tuning his capabilities with the various weapon groups and his knowledge of warfare. He is not to be taken lightly when his presence is upon the battlefield.

[+] Nationalistic zeal pushes Eshre ever onward to carve out deals and better his people's place not only in the Second Triumvirate but also in Galactic Society. He might not be as skilled at diplomacy or intrigue as others but his code of honor and direct approach to requests and failure to adopt the negative stigma of outsiders as heavily as his kin have over the generations, it is this fact that no doubt put him in the position as representative of the Illasian Aristocracy in the Second Triumvirate. This is not to say that he doesn't share the sentiment of his kin, however.

[~] Eshre is as much Illasian as the rest of his kin; his talons and beak make for good weapons like any spear and a thick plumage keeps the Illasian comfortable in colder climates at the cost of the high risk of dying of overheating in warmer climates. Their hollow bones are also something of note, sacrificing durability for that extra agility and grace that the Illasians utilize heavily in their daily routine and military doctrine.

[-] Intrigue is not Eshre's strong suit, preferring bluntness and to-the-point discussions as opposed to niceties and diplomatic speeches. This can cause aversion or, in worse cases, allow a crafty individual to pull the wool over his eyes.

[-] Has a severe hatred towards Chiss, being the ones that carried the Gulag Plague to your homeworld and had the potential of wiping out all life upon it certainly doesn't leave a good impression.

[-] The negative stigma against outsiders, whilst not as strong as the rest of his kin, does give Eshre a sense of paranoia and compulsion to act more irrationally against them then he would with his brother and sister races on Confracta; whilst they can be trusted with reason and logic, the same cannot be said for outsiders.

The weight of the people upon his family.

Eshre's name was once one that held no prestige or notability, nothing more than a simple newborn deep within the Citadels, the capital of the Illasian Aristocracy. Once of suitable age, the young found himself dropped into the Warrior Caste and began to learn just what his ancestors had done before him; hunt, kill and die to protect the homeland and their kin. The 400-Year Darkness had left a bitter resentment against outsiders that had only grown with intensity and venom as time passed and as Eshre's generation was raised, this stigma was to be passed on and used as the groundwork for the incentive in their training to become the new members of the Warrior Caste. The plague had since passed and contact with the world beyond the frozen shores of the Isle but the scars of the sweeping death that had been prevented from reaching their shores were ones that would take more than a simple breaking of bread to heal. To many of his kin, the potential of outsiders carrying sickness was something of a visible paranoia that soon started to take other forms; it wouldn't be sickness the next time but rather their armies ready to burn and pillage, it'd be their bloodline that sought to seep into their society and corrupt it from within. Purity had to be maintained, the homeland secure from all external threats, no matter how big or small.

Eshre, alongside his kin, embodied these traits. Yet this Illasian was different.

It didn't take long before contact with the other races was established once more, old treaties seeking renewal after the silence that had isolated and separated the nations of Confracta. Despite being newly blooded into the ranks, it was Eshre that showed the exemplary talents of being able to at least tolerate the possibility of outsiders to the point where he could at the very least sit down and discuss terms. With some reluctance and scrutiny from his peers, it was this young Illasian that met with the ambassadors of both the Cerevessians and Ifradelians and established new terms out of the ashes of the old. What had once been a nation with prosperity and a common kinship with the fellow races of Confracta had sewn the seed to give these avenues rebirth and thus was branded the Second Triumvirate. Eshre was rewarded, seen as a leader of the people, he was elevated to the Golden Caste yet his work was not yet complete.

Confracta was his to defend. Triumvirate or not.

So began the work of the military might of the Illasian people, having been isolated for as long as 400 years and their sole purpose for that duration having been entirely centered around defense of the homeland, their military technologies and drilled soldiers saw their first taste of battle across Confracta with Eshre leading them in a crusade of assistance and glory. It was this that helped their brother and sister nations get back onto their feet and reestablished themselves as the powers that they had once been. When all was said and done and Confracta stood tall once again, Eshre's sights now lay toward the stars, ready to stand as the warden against those who would dare set foot upon his homeland.

Overzealous it may be but in his eyes, the future of his people was at stake.
