APPEARANCE:
She has the appearance of a human woman in her early 30’s. Esme is average height, has a toned and healthy figure. The droid was created with blonde hair and blue hued sensors. She moves with a delicate grace and chooses to maintain a very sleek and sophisticated look.
Esme appears to be eerily calm and collected. She would come across as someone that doesn’t have much of a sense of humor. While she is unable to feel emotions, she is able to analyze situations and emulate the appropriate emotional response in order to fit in.
SPECS:
-Synthetic organs crafted of bio-fibers: they appear almost indistinguishable from that of a human when scanned (with the exception of heavier muscle tissue). She can eat and drink if she desires, in order to simulate human behavior. Her lungs function, so that it appears the droid is breathing
-A secure connection that can be used to communicate covertly with Esme
-Eye sensors: infrared, night vision and telescopic vision
-Audio and holo-recording ability
-Anti slicing protection: access codes are needed to interface with Esme, if unauthorized access is attempted she will completely shut down
BIOGRAPHY:
Esme was constructed for Cristobal Talon, a slightly paranoid business owner located on Coruscant. He wished to have an administrative assistant that doubled as a spy. This was the best way for him to keep track of his competitors and people he perceived to be enemies. Cristobal paid a fortune for a female droid called IR-9964, that he later named Esme Pallas.
The droid worked for Talon Corp as Cristobal’s personal assistant, she was always kept close at his side during business hours. While she spent most of her days setting appointments, and completing other administrative tasks, during the night she functioned as a supplement to the corporation’s security system. Esme would interface with the company’s main computer network to assist with keeping any would-be slicers at bay, and alerting the proper authorities to any other threat to security.
Esme also functioned as a proxy for Cristobal, as he grew increasingly suspicious of his peers and business associates. Cristobal used any opportunity for Esme to appear at social functions, having her record and note any information that would be beneficial to his business.
Cristobal’s mental illness reached its climax, and he committed suicide. The shareholders were in favor of Esme staying on as acting CEO, but she declined. The droid felt that her abilities were not being utilized and set out on a search for a new purpose.
