Description:
Created to provide Agnusdei a weapon that can stand up to the more powerful weapons his enemies may possess, the Essence Trap Cane is highly unique in a variety of ways.
The primary and most obvious reason is that the weapon comes in the form of a swordstick or sword cane. The blade is hidden within the confines of the walking stick or cane and can be removed at will and short notice. The weapon is also fully alchemized and lightsaber resistant, lending the weapon the famed near indestructibility and cutting power of Sith Alchemized weapons. The cane itself is highly ornamented and is black with what appears to be human bone inlaid into the wood. The handle is top grade silver, also alchemized and ornamental. Within the handle lies the blood container and essence trap machine.
The blade itself is plain, but features a blood channel along the length. At the base of the blade, in line with the blood channel, are two small ports on either side of the blade. These ports allow any blood on the blade to travel down inside the handle where the blood is captured inside a small vial. Attached to the vial is a small machine made for him by the Sith alchemists he paid to manufacture the blades for him.
This machine is the Essence Trap, as Agnusdei has named it. The machine does not trap the soul of whoever is killed by the weapon. Instead, it harvests and contains the life essence of the victim itself and stores it. At this time, Agnusdei does not know what purpose this machine holds other than to hold the life power of those slain by the weapon, but is determined to find out*.
The weaknesses of the weapon are rather straightforward. Primarily, the weapon is heavier than a normal swordstick leading to the weapon being slightly more cumbersome for the user. Also, due to the weight, the weapon is a little more unwieldy in certain situations, making the wielder vulnerable at times. Lastly, despite the weapon's weight, the blade is more effective with stabbing or thrusting attacks as the blade's design and the user's grip are slightly detrimental to the blade's effectiveness with slashing or chopping attacks.
*The OOC of the Essence Trap Machine is literally just to tinker with over a number of threads. It's something for me to do with this character for a bit. I really have nothing solid that this thing will do. It could end up powering a lamp, becoming a power cell for a small tool or something, maybe just an environmentally friendly battery alternative. I can, however, list what it can't do:

- It cannot trap a soul, meaning anyone killed by the weapon that wishes to revive themselves in another thread or down the line can do so.
- It cannot transfer the soul to the user, Force sensitive or not, as the machine traps it entirely.
- It cannot be used to power anything at this time as the machine has no known use at this time.
- It cannot be used to instantly kill a victim. The victim must be killed by the weapon, but the Essence Trap Machine does not instantly kill the individual, nor does the blade (aside from fatal blows to the victim's anatomy, of course)
- The Essence Trap Machine only works upon the death of the victim by the blade itself and only when the victim's blood travels down the blade and into the vial.
