First, I would like to extend thanks to [member="Caius Flavian"] for having mentioned the possibility of the creation of a reference faction focused upon the Nobility and Noble Houses / Families on Chaos.
The Estates of the Realm is a reference faction; with the primary purpose and focus being upon the Noble Families and Houses of Chaos.
To this end, the faction would act as a central repository of information on the various Player Character created Nobles; while also including a copy of the Chaos Site Map, however said map would show the influence clouds of these individual families (not the major or minor factions they are part of).
The Estates of the Realm would also include the following in its faction page.
Each Forum will serve a function within the overall reference faction.
The General OOC-Forum is for what its name implies, primarily OOC talk. The forum will also maintain forms that can be utilized by a member should they desire to have their family or house included in the lists.
The General Information and Resource Forum is where the reference portion of the faction comes into play. This forum will include as mentioned above, a copy of the site map, entries for the various noble houses, an @mention list for those members, and any additional information requested to be added to specific houses or families by its members.
The Diplomatic Relations Forum will serve as the IC Portion of the faction. This can be used as a place In Character talks and negotiations between families; to come to agreements, plot activity between families, etc etc, with the results of such negotiations and threads being added to the General Information forum.
For the most part, the faction is intended to aid other members and writers of the site to have an easily accessible listing of the families (which are numerous) and make it easier to find information on them instead of having to search through multiple pages.
I do hope that there is an interest in this faction.
