The ET-1 was a design made directly by Heath Valhoun, with the guiding hand of experts. The King's intentions were to create a strong, frontline tank, with the cheapest materials he could, in order to make as many of the vehicles as possible. It was decided that the Gatling lasers should be manually operated to cut the costs and energy required for automatic targeting. Furthermore the materials used were common...Titanium, Durasteel, and Alusteel. After several revisions, it was decided that the tank was suitable for the needs of The Empire.
From that point it was a question of who would produce the tank. Heath chose MandalMotors due to the Mandalorian-like design of the tank along with the heavy discounts offered by Lorrena Arenais-Valhoun. With a solid design, and a manufacturer chosen, production of the tank began immediately.
