SPECIAL FEATURES
Finely decorated, one of a set, the twin swords of Atrisian Handmaiden and nanny of Mandalorian troublemaker [member="Yasha Mantis"], Baiko no Kaho, were crafted for two purposes: concealment, and effect against lightsaber attacks. Thus, the sword is made of a Phrik alloy, given to her by her now deceased Lady [member="Aditya Mantis"], who mined for Phrik and never used it.

Strengths:

• Concealed Wakizashi (Seo-Yeon, Auspicious Beauty)

Weaknesses:

• Weight: At a combined weight of 3 kg, the Katana (2.2kg) & Wakizashi are twice as heavy as classic Atrisian Katana (~1.3 kg). User fatigue is likely over long battles.
• Scabbard: However elegant and sleek, the scabbard is simple wood with enamel overlay. It is no protection whatsoever, other than housing the blades.
• No Guard: In order to make Eun-Jeong easier to conceal, Baiko had to forego a guard, thus making it easier for her to have her fingers chopped off.

DESCRIPTION
Aditya Mantis came to Atrisia from parts unknown. Discovered to be a displaced Panathan Citizen, and a talented Engineer, Aditya was ‘found’ by Emperor Akio Kahoshi and brought into the Atrisian Nobility. Given the Imperial Shipworks and Imperial Mining Companies, Aditya worked beside her given-assistant, an older woman named Baiko no Kaho. Little did Aditya know Baiko was a trained Handmaiden, part confidante, part bodyguard, part stylist, part educator. Her position as bodyguard had the half-Echani Handmaiden consistently cautious of her mistress’ predilections and company.

When Aditya moved from Atrisia to Mandalore to follow her future husband [member="Preliat Mantis"], Baiko followed her mistress. In order to properly protect her mistress in a menacing galaxy, Baiko commissioned Phrik-alloy swords from the young Mandalorian goran [member="Leto Vos"] around the same time of the construction of Preliat Mantis’ leg. Giving Leto (then Ginnie Ordo) the schematics and manuals on the creation of Atrisian swords, she set back as the girl who fashioned beskar worked with Phrik.

Eun-Jeong, the Katana, is a reminder to the aging woman to court grace, to live with a careful kindness. Seo-Yeon fits inside Eun-Jeong’s scabbard, and is sleek and concealed for emergencies. Essential kit for the combat-oriented Force Users in the Galaxy, the swords of Baiko no Kaho are meant for one remaining purpose: saving young Yasha Mantis’ life.

Sorry for the delay. Got caught up in the holiday madness.

So, there are two issues with this submission. The first, and the main one, is that the swords within will have to be submitted separately. If the event of identical matched swords, we can let them both go in a single submission. Happens fairly frequently, especially with lightsabers. But in this case, you've got a katana and a wakizashi. Two completely different weapons, with completely different purposes and functions. I would recommend editing this sub for the katana, and splitting off the wakizashi.

The second issue is in the submission's title. We have to have the English translation included any time a foreign language is used. Most commonly, it's included in brackets. The rationale behind that is we've had, in the past, folks try to sneak in dirty words. That might not be the case here, but that's the standing rule.

Anyway, lemme know when you get finished with the edits and we'll move on from there.
