HISTORY
Daughter of former CIS High Marshal Kirk Tektus, Eva Tektus was born at the height of her father's military career. She lived most of her life on the Cosmic Dragon, her father's capital ship. She felt safe and despite living on a dreadnought, she had all the necessities she ever wanted. But the Tektus family name was not as prestigious. Despite early military fame and High Marshal status, Kirk earned the title of a pencil pusher while sitting comfy in his ship. He didn't participate in military operations all the while Eva was trying to get a good education and serve in the military like her father. As soon she got into the military academy, she was side-eyed by the officer cadets. While their families were serving on the front earning their own glory, Kirk was usually in his office away from the fighting look at after-action reports and requisition orders. Her father was a war hero and one of the most high ranking officers of the confederate navy and he sat behind a desk for the rest of his career. Eva never had time to ask her father what was happening, she was too wrapped in her training while Kirk was wrapped in his work for them to bond. But Eva faced a lot of scorn because of her father, but despite the adversity she earned high scores at the academy for command, logistics, technical skills, and military tactics. She became a confederate naval officer just like her father had. She had returned home to Naboo to be with her father but found that he was not well, he would never say why.
Kirk passed a year after Eva's graduation when she was only 24 and aboard a confederate ship. Her father was 58.
She found out that her father had a tumor and the cancer was being treated but even the best doctors couldn't save him. Kirk kept it a secret and Eva never knew why. With nothing but her name left, Eva lives to prove the nay-sayers wrong and live to be better than her father. As he would've wanted.
