Evelyn is the assumed name of a low-level criminal and Sith Apprentice.
Born in the lower levels of Coruscant, Evelyn grew up in a deprived environment with little safety, security or prosperity. The only real way to secure anything for yourself was through crime. Like so many others, she saw the relative fortune of credits that thugs, gang members and other criminals would flash around and envied them greatly, determined to grow out of the poverty that she'd been raised in.
As a teenager, she immersed herself in that world, becoming adept at petty scams, thievery and low-level assault. Helping to run protection rackets on mid-level businesses, she raised enough credits to leave Coruscant from a while and move around, hoping to find a better life on another world. Unfortunately, she always ended up falling back into crime, whenever the money dried up or circumstances lead that way.
Working for a Hutt, Evelyn was involved in a heist on a freighter ship. Buried deep in it's cargo was something that called to her and her alone. A small crate, with a hidden lightsaber and something that gave off a cold, wicked energy. Touching the artefact surged energy through her, showing her visions of what could be, what could happen, what she could become. From that day, she cast off her old name and took up 'Evelyn,' beginning her first induction into the ways of the Sith.
TRAITS:
Criminally Clever: Working in the underworld for most of her life, even at a low level, has given her an understanding of how things can operate. She can use that to work her way into gangs, crews and families as well as manipulate their goals and activities to her own ends.
Unassuming: In her usual look, she's fairly unassuming and decent-looking. Unlikely to be noticed in a crowd, it allows her a measure of freedom when operating, especially on busy worlds. Her softer features and warm smile hide the ambitious, hungry and ruthless person beneath it all.
New to the Force: Evelyn is merely an apprentice and only just coming to learn how to use the Force effectively. Whilst she can do an increasing number of things with the Force, she is likely to be outmatched by more experienced, more trained and more serious practitioners of the Force.
Paranoid: They're always after you. Always. From hiding her real name to covering her tracks, Evelyn is convinced that people are always gunning for her. From other apprentices, fellow criminals to the law, everyone is out to get her. Seriously.
