With a sure strike, aimed skillfully at Asher's mid-section, Destiny thought to bring her apprentice to his knees. However, even with both arms held behind his back tightly, Asher didnt give and instead channeled energy to the point he knew it would hit.
Grinding his teeth in a deep concentration, Asher felt his mirage shimmer due to the flux of energy in that spot - then it burned away at the contact of the training saber. But the strike bounced away without touching the flesh beneath, to which Destiny grinned internally.
Her stoic expression never shifted outward however, "Very good. Remember that to use Ray in this fashion, to battle sabers, is always a last option. It is unpracticed however in longer battles, as the simple need to continue drawing upon physical matter is to great.
"Alright, once more." Destiny called, switching her sabers so as to use a true blade to test her apprentice, "This time however with a real lightsaber. Be ready."
Asher paled, and not of his own choice, but didnt falter. Closing his auburn eyes, then taking a deep breath, Asher pulled on the surrounding rock mines until he felt the mist like flow of particles commense around his lanky ebony form. Slowly it shifted from a small few inch wide cloud of mist to a glowing energy that wrapped around his arm in just enough time to stop the lightsaber that connected.
Shouting out, more from fear than pain or such, Asher leapt to the side. But found that his arm was ok, even though his body was now so taxed he felt it difficult to stand. Wracked with spasms that slowly lessened in duration alongside strength, Asher fought the darkness that crept into his vision.
Wavering slowly, he felt the world heave beneath him...
Turning he smiled at his girlfriend, "Destiny..that was...fun." He murmured, as it hurt to speak.
"You were unprepared for a second attempt. One day your honing of the force will reach a level to do more, but for now it seems your body may only be able to sustain a singular true formation of Ray." Destiny said, a soft smile returned.
"Well, I imagine if I train with it as hard as I can, it will be a truly devastating weapon in my arsenal." Asher replied, slowly pushing himself into a sitting position. His head swam slightly at the sudden shift.
"Careful Ash, dont push yourself to far.." The concern no longer hidden, she rested a hand against her lovers shoulder.
"Babe dont sweat it. I'll be fine." He returned.
Rising to his feet, Asher swayed for barely a moment then rested his weight on his haunches, Asher looked about himself then slowly exhaled.
Immersing himself into the flow of the Force, he began to breath deeply, his weakness dulling as his pain fled. He was no Master, nor even a Knight, but he knew a little about bringing himself into the warm embrace of the living energy. He once leeched on its strength like a heathen, now he simply welcomed what naturally sought to nourish.
It would require far more training then he would ever care to admit for the ability to be useful for himself.
"Ah. You are ready. Time to begin your training again. Form V is still a weapon that you need to hone use for. I believe the nearby old military training grounds should suit our needs fine."
"How should we to about getting in Asher?"
Before jumping to a reply, as youth often do, Ash gave it thought. Once more letting his essence submerge into the wonder that is the Force, he closed his eyes and listened to the voices of powers long past...
"We could try the back entrance..maybe time has lapsed enough to rust the hinges that bar our entrance.." Asher murmured as he opened and brought his eyes towards his Master.
"Lead the way then young one."
With a nod the Polydroxol turned and began heading towards the right of the massive burgundy red building. It stretched in both directions for roughly 400 feet, and so the walk was not long. The length though was far more, nearing 2 thousand feet before the cut off could be seen. Each portion of wall they passed grew further covered in moss and overgrowth from the surrounding brush - leading one to believe Asher's assumption may have been correct.
"What are we planning once inside?" Asher asked over his shoulder at the lithe woman behind.
"Hopefully find some repairable droids and alike to help you train in Shien." She replied, her steps easily matching the much taller Polydroxol. It was a simple trick long ago learned by the Shi'ido, to lengthen her legs.
Asher thought about this as their destination began to near; how many enemies was he likely to face? Would there be any other requirements such as the keeping his hands behind his form? What kind of blasters was he looking to face? Automatic was fine, on a singular basis, but he was untrained in its use against numerous.
"Very well." He called, passing the opposite corner of the building..
Then froze. Extending his arm behind himself, he pressed the open palm of his massive hand against his loves chest.
"Kraft sparen uns.." Asher murmured in the tongue of his ancient ancestors, "Destiny, wir gehen müssen, jetzt.." 'Force save us. Destiny we have to move, now.' Being as close a translation as one could find.
Understanding, despite the seperate language, Destiny turned her gaze to the roof. Leaping upward with a nimble kick, the woman's lithe form soared to nearly 20 feet. Placing her hands against the wall, thus somehow defying all logic, she flipped vertically until she rose the last few feet to land gently with a soft tap.
Turning her gaze towards her apprentice, she would find him having quite the difficult battle down below. With his saber ignited and spinning like a whirlwind in front of his form, Asher readied for the next attack to come from the pack of Akk Dogs, a nearby body rose and shook its head from the strike it recieved.
As a unit the predators began to converge on Asher, where they simultaneously sought to pounce on the metallic body, but it was jerked high into the air. Knowing instantly the plan his Master had, he spun around towards the wall, counted to three, then kicked off the telekinetic barrier now placed beneath his feet.
Coming up short, Ash was lucky his arms were held out, for his fingers hardly managed to catch the lip of the rooftop. Pausing to breathe a second, he felt a hand around his forearm as it pulled.
Looking into the eyes of his love as they appeared he smiled, "Better hurry inside. They may have a way up."
"Speak Lushian more, it's so..rougish.." Destiny said, no attempt made to hide the blatant smile upon her mouth.
"Wie ist das richtig? Ich finde es genau das gleiche," Asher murmured into her hair near her ear, "aber wenn es Sie glücklich zu machen ..." With a chuckle he walked past her still form, eyes ahead he ignored her bit lip and flushed eyes. The best in basic one could understand would be, 'How is that? I think its the same...but if it makes you happy.'
He knew just what to do to get her..
Spotting a large hole in the roof, Asher paused. The Force whispered of the possibilities within the dark hole, and not a lot seemed all that grand.
Why did it foretell of danger if nothing was within?
"Master...do you sense that?" He inquired, his eyes never leaving the space less than a dozen feet from them.
"Yes Asher, I do. Not entirely sure we need to go in any longer. There are far better places to train."
"But, what if I am destined to do so.." Asher asked. There was a reason he was here, and he felt it unlikely that simply noting its existence was why.
"No Asher," Destiny stated, placing a hand on his arm to tug him backwards, "I see that look. You dont have to prove anything anymore. I know you are strong.." The desperation at the idea of harm befalling him stilled his form for a moment.
"Why else are we here than? To have this conversation after risking our stable health? That cant be it."
"We are here by chance" Destiny tried again, "Why does everything have to have been pre-determined? Listen Asher, we are here because I told you we should come, not because some divine energy pushed us here - ASHER!" The end was a shout however, for the Polydroxol had already begun a charge towards the hole where he leapt and dropped straight out of sight. To heighten her reputation, the ever persevering pacifist followed suit quickly.
The fall was a long yet short one, leaving Asher with sore knees but little else. Destiny landed as if from a stair rather than a rooftop. Instantly opening her senses, she allowed her apprentice to see what her mind did through their link.
Nothing in their immediate surroundings was alive.
Slowly both of the Jedi adapted to the dark: Asher's eyes changed until the darkness was as bright as midday on Tattooine, his arms thickened, and his body shortened, while Destiny let her eyes do the same, she became taller as well. Gotta love shapeshifting.
Craning his neck, Asher gazed along the edges of the damaged roof. It seemed cut almost, and yet still far to weathered to be so simple. There were few things that could do such, even then that list was lessened immensly considering their whereabouts.
What do you think did that? Asher sent to his Master telepathically, thanks to their Force Bond the effort was as simple as speaking.
Honestly? Not a lot of ideas. You already know my talents lie in energy and matter manipulations. But off the top of my head? Something evil seeking to get inside! Possibly a Sith-Spawn or something similar. Destiny returned.
There are Spawn that can do that!? Asher asked, the surprise he felt transferring into his thought voice.
Indeed, nigh anything can be achieved with the use of the Force. I have not seen anything so precise, but I have come across brutes capable of casting intense flames, hotter than any achievable by you or I. Possibly something like that came here for some reason. Destiny thought back, rubbing her chin thoughtfully, her silver-gold hair shimmering over her shoulder, even in the low light.
Before Asher could reply, a burst of darkness shot through the Force, rocking down to the very core of his body. Something was manipulating the Dark side, and close...
Master...
Asher we need to leave! Destint cut Asher off, painfully interjecting and interrupting his thoughts.
Drawing a comlink from his hip pouch, Asher spoke quickly - detailing the events as they unraveled, including the belief they would need reinforcements.
With that finished he sighed, preparing himself mentally...

Opening his eyes slowly, they fluttered once more before finally choosing to spread wholy. Glancing around himself at the massive hill that was result of an age old rockslide, Asher instantly recalled where he was.Turning he smiled at his girlfriend, "Destiny..that was...fun." Once the pain had become little more than a dull thrum, he opened his gaze, feeling as if he had simply been standing for a few moments, to find yet another drastic change in the height of the sun - rather than moments, it had taken him hours to heal fully. It would require far more training then he would ever care to admit for the ability to be useful for himself.

Soon enough the duo stood at a massive building in which rested the ghost-camp they were looking for. "How should we to about getting in Asher?"
