Well, thanks for letting me in.

So. I've been into RP for around two decades now in various forms. I like to consider myself pretty okay at it anyway. It's been a while since I was into any Star Wars RP but what with the cold weather here in the Midwest and with hunting season over I've found myself with more time on my hands than I know what to do with. So I started googling around and here I am.

So. I was reading through the rules and all that but when I came to the timeline I found that it had been removed. So which era/s is this RP written in?

Ok. I don't have much experience that far ahead. Furthest I've read into the expanded universe is the Fate of the Jedi series. Reckon I'll have to lurk a bit more while I read up on stuff round here.

[member="Thump"] - The timeline is fairly divergent from the EU to be honest. It uses it as a jumping off point and a stage arena, but it's not following it to the letter. I know some of the more veteran members know it better than I do and can probably offer all sorts of assistance.

Ok. So about getting into making a character. Say I want to start out with an otherwise unknown guy with no affilation. Do I have to join up with someone and work my way up to him having a ship. Or can I start him off with his own slightly modified ship and have it where he's pretty much been off the radar his whole life?

With his ship. Do I have to get permission to have it modifed right off the get go or is that someone I only have to do if I modify it after I establish my character?

Well greetings and welcome.....and thought am sort new myself as far I've know. I recon you can stay unaffiliated for a while in the beginning....as i know have. And figure have the option try or join an outfit later when you decide to.

And as for ship i guess just as long its a decent choice and not too out there. Figure they won't mind seeing i started things off owning my own ship right off the bat. Just had make sure also to make a decent enough backstory regarding how i got the ship and all. And as for the mod not quite sure but guess that be some ask the higher ups about.

To be clear, you're actually allowed to use anything you want to. If someone reports it, you may be required to make a tech submission in the Factory. So go nuts, but don't go so nuts that people will be upset.
