Event Dominions End Sunday, 15MAR2015, 7 PM EST

The Dominion prefix will be removed from the Event forum as the title suggests and the Event Dominion rules will be taken down.

The last two weeks of the Event will focus solely on Episode VI. The IC reasoning is, Akala will make her presence known in the Galaxy in a big way and thwart all Faction movement by way of "being the bigger fish."

Am I correct in assuming ongoing Dominions will still be able to be finished and claimed as complete?

Yes. You'll have the final two weeks to continue your Dominions, but the max of 3 started at any one time will still stand.

So obviously the way to capitalize on this is to finish 3 Dominions Sunday at 6:58 PM, and start 3 more at 6:59 PM EST. Any thereafter will be considered null and void.
Be careful trying to meet the deadline, though. Don't let the lack of time cause you or one of your fellow faction members to churn out a bad quality post, multiple posts in a row, start spamming alts, or any other unfair ways to gain that 'post count'. If a Staff member catches it, we'll up the minimum posts required for the Dominion (and possibly cost you a planet).

Just fair warning for you and all others, not accusing nobody of nuffin'. The community's been excellent at it so far, so let's spread the word and make sure nobody screws their faction over.

Oh yeah, definitely! Quality posts are important. Don't want any spamming of one-line posts. We gotta work for what we want. Luckily I've noticed that a lot of people here are actually pretty good at getting several paragraph posts out in a short/reasonable amount of time without skimming on the quality. It's pretty cool, actually. :)

I'm sure we'll all keep up the good work. Even if a few people slip up, I'm sure others will work to make up for it.

You bring up a good point. If a Faction Admin sees a member slipping up, it's best to either correct that member quickly and try to work with him to get better quality out of his posts - or to contact an RPJ and let them know that this guy needs to be booted from the Dominion.

If you get to us before we see it, we'll probs be even more lenient about it.

How long have we got? [member="Akala"]

We have a timezone difference so I don't have a clue as I'm Gtm.

Also next time you hold an event could you possibly include multiple timezones to make it easier for everyone?
