INFORMATION
EVOH was created with merely one purpose; to keep her creator (Marguerite Shaw) alive by whatever means necessary. Over time, this has developed into not just physical protection for the creator, but also the little mundane, day to day things as well. EVOH makes sure that meals are not missed, that her creator keeps hydrated, and that she doesn't go stir crazy being on her own.
This development is from the Artificial Intelligence that Maggie had both created and installed into EVOH upon creation. Eventually, these developments drove Maggie to want more for her created companion and pushed her to make both personality and emotion modulators for the android.
Naturally, these are things that are still being worked on. Not in a scary, this-bot-is-going-to-kill-us-all sort of way, but in an exasperating (for Maggie) an frustratingly tedious sort of way.

HISTORY
EVOH is the third attempt made on her series of android. Getting all of the details, the mechanics, and the AI to function properly in one form had been infuriatingly difficult for Marguerite to pull off, but she eventually managed - after two disasters, one of which landed her injured for a while. But with the Series III, Maggie was able to get everything she wanted manipulated into EVOH.
The complex build, the weapon technology, paired with the AI and other personal touches to the programming...Thus far, all has gone according to plan. There are still hitches, and Maggie is still working on a few systems and tweaking a few programs, but all in all EVOH is one of the things she is certainly most proud of.
