Execution on Pavv [Open]

Mayor of Pavv, She Zriknot had planned an Execution for a local Jedi that had been trying to kill Zriknot for a long time. With the Help of a local Cartel, the Jedi had been captured. The Mayor has chained the Jedi's body to the Wall and is waiting for the Local Firing Squad to arrive in Pavv. Around 10 people showed up to the execution, since Five out of Ten of the people didn't speak Tusken, so Zriknot had to speak Basic. "Ladies and Gentlemen, I have called everyone here today for the Execution of this Jedi, he has caused trouble around Paav for years and Karma has caught up to him. Once the Firing Squad will arrive, the Chaos will end!"

Tatooine... Sand. Crime. Hot. Home. All words that were synonymous with the planet's name to him. A settlement in the distance, Pavv was next on one his his lonesome journey's on the sand planet. As the lone Tusken made his way into the settlement he was greeted with seeing something about an execution. The thing was, is it an execution, or a lynching. The former being a more common sight on the planet. Often by settlers, and moister farmers that were able to catch a Tusken that was causing them problems. It made someone like him wonder... Was there really much of a difference between either group?

Not much longer he came to the rather small gathering. 10 people, max seemed to show up. That's because instead of killing off some criminal it was apparently a Jedi. Before them all seemed to be a Tusken, even more odd was that they were speaking galactic basic. Were they really a human under that mask, like him? A'Runda wasn't sure. He listened to what they had to say, a Jedi causing problems? This story was beginning to sounds a little false. But perhaps they were a Dark Jedi. But if that was so then why not call them that? If they wanted the support of the people to back this execution they ought give them a bad name.

Something didn't seem right. A sense of corruption flowed through the arid wind. A'Runda felt like there was reason to believe that this was less then legal. If that was even possible on Tatooine. Maybe considering it was in Imperial Space. All this seemed to put a wench in his plans to have a peaceful time out in the desert to meditate as part of his training, to center himself. Now he'd speak out among the crowd. "A Jedi causing problems you say. That is a troubling accusation." A'Runda said as he brought down the hood from his head. revealing that he too was a Tusken. "Was this Jedi causing problems for the people, or is the motive something more... underground?" He was essentially calling them out by saying that this Jedi wasn't causing problems for the settlement, but whatever crime circled around it.

These were strong accusations he was making, and with little to know proof, yet he felt true to what he was saying.

Alexandra Feanor

The Lady in Silver/Grey Historian
Alexandra watched with curiosity at the sight, choosing to remain cloaked and hidden among the crowd as she moved in her snow like robes, easily dirtied by the winds and dirt of this dustball planet. It was not the first time that she had found herself here before, nor the first time it had been for simple reasons of being on a whim. Though the last time she had shown up to this dustball had been when a certain Bothan had blown her apart and shot her up, so, hopefully things would not turn out the same way this time around.

It was her arrival on the planet that had brought with it some interesting news, one of which being a jedi taken and held for execution. She wondered if any others were here to witness what might happen, curious to see if anyone might do anything and considering this was Imperial Space, she wondered if the Empire might step in for whatever reason.

So she waited, watching the scene play out as people muttered and talked around her. She had on her person only two things, besides the cloak and robes she wore, one of which being the pair of sabers, hidden in the sleeves of her robes and kept out of sight of anyone that might catch her here. Then there was the collapsible battle staff that she held in her hands, planted in the ground at this moment and fully extended infront of her. She used it like a walking stick for now, leaning on it as she maintained the illusion she preferred. Silver hair, blue eyes, and no Zorren tail to speak of visible to any onlookers, the tail and her new, true appearance hidden from eyesight thanks to that illusion.

There was something uncomfortable about the armor that Saran wore. It was old, ill-fitting, and rusted. If she expected to fight someone her equal, she'd have forgone it all for something she could move freely in. But she couldn't be recognized. Not when it could cause trouble early.

An armored mercenary was common enough here, and with the taozin amulet hidden under her armor, there was little way to tell what she really was. Unless, of course, she was careless. Or if she let on too much.

Someone in the crowd was famaliar. Someone she'd never expected to see off Alderaan. Slow steps carried the armored figure through the crowd, ending behind a woman who seemed to favor her walking stick. In little more than a whisper, she spoke. "We can't keep meeting like this, Alex. People will talk."

Prepare for your... examination.
Lab was quite annoyed now, not long after finally getting rod of a certain crime lord reports of some tusken raider orchestrating a public execution of a Jedi came flooding in. Why the Tusken raider was even in town seems odd, the locals and their kind never really got a long, but more then that a Jedi, here? it was like finding a Jedi on Korriban, it just seemed way to out of the blue, and she was certain that if any Jedi was causing trouble on world it would have been brought to light. Unless this was just some hox and the Tusken in question just kidnapped some random civi to kill as a power show, regardless the tribal people just killing people without authority was a no go, the garrison commander show up at the lathering with several squads of sand troopers.

"What the hell is going on here", the Twi'lek bellowed with a visibly angry expression on her face, the white armored storm troopers pushing through the crowed, letting Lab walk to the front of the to be execution. "I am not sure of the detail or why you are currently doing this, but a public killing like this at your hands before a trial is no going to happen while I am around", she replied as troopers surrounded the stage and kept the crowd back. "If this person has committed some crime and is a Jedi that falls on my authority, not yours, though why a Jedi is here in the first place and how someone like you could defeat them seems very suspicious".

A'Runda was picking up on Force signatures, but he wasn't sure who they were in the crowd. However, to his utter surprise. Authorities had shown up. A real rare sight here on Tatooine he felt. Where were they when settlers and Tuskens fought over turf and water? Oh but when a Jedi seems to be in trouble here they come to the rescue. Clearly some are more equal then others in the Empire it seemed.

Another thing, he didn't really like being push the sand troopers. Now he certainly felt like there was more then meets the eye. Then the Tusken spoke of espionage. He wasn't sure if they meant to say that or it was just a slip up. Who would be committing espionage on some settlement on Tatooine, and why? This helped push A'Runda's theory that there was indeed criminal activity, and considering the planet that they were on, Hutts were probably most likely involved. For now he'd keep quite.
