- Massive & Modular Payload -
With the term 'Strategic Bomber' taken very literally, Jaeger Solutions filled every portion of this stratofortress with armament options for every discerning customer and situation. Most notably, almost all options that can go into the vessel are high altitude, high yield bombs meant to wreck havoc on the surface in a very wide area. Should this be deployed against a highly populated ever, even a single squadron could lay miles of destruction with extreme prejudice.
[*]Highly Accurate Judgement -
- With inboard computer systems offering micro adjustments to both flight pattern for the squadron and bomb release mechanism, the atmospheric bomber is capable of both wide girths of destruction, but completely accurate deployment of otherwise low tech, high yield weaponry. Current averages allow a bomb to be dropped within .5 m of any given position as determined by the bomb operator and support computer.
Weaknesses:
- Slow Behemoth -
Just as any given strategic bomber, the vessel is armed with more weapons than it is engines. Its bulky nature and lack there of power in the propulsion systems form a slow, burly creature that prefers escorts over a planet than anything else. Still, meant for short bomber runs over a planet with guaranteed air superiority, this is only a danger should the combat area not be properly in the control of the aggressor.
[*]Low Deployment Numbers -
- Due to a mixture of cost and infrastructural issues, deployment of these gargantuan titans is restricted to a simple 4. Although their bomb bays certainly make up for such an issue, there is still the glaring issue of being overwhelmed with ease without proper guidance or escorts.
Description:
With cooperation with The Sith Empire, Jaeger Solutions has finally dipped its toes into the ever saturated ship market; making a stratosphere capable bomber with intergalactic capacity, within reason of course. Not to ever be outshined by competitors, they brought to the table their usual candor and easily genocidal ideas; something few could really understand without utilizing one of their many highly illegal products.
In this case, the Exodus Class Strategic Bomber is one with minimal defensive capabilities, nor offensive; at least in the conventional sense. No, in fact the Exodus finds its main power in its nearly endless bomb bays and multipurpose accessories; something few others bombers of its class and age could equally say in great measure. With rows and rows of bombs, a single squadron could lay waste to miles with minimal damage to themselves with their atmospheric distance.
That combined with an inhouse guiding computer capable of dropping a non-smart bomb within .5 meters of a soldier means that there is little concern about danger close and otherwise dangerous bombing operations; especially by such a massive figure in the sky. Often called ‘Thunderbirds’ or ‘Angels’ depending on your standing on the ground, these planes can and will be implemented in the absolute annihilation of entire population centers should they make the mistake of rising up against their overlords.
