Expanding Faction Administration

It's been a topic on Skype of whether or not the Levantines need a few extra pair of hands making sure our oiled gears continue to turn happily. At first, I considered Moderators... However, Moderators are somewhat limited in authority and at times, especially in a case of emergency, it doesn't do to have Moderators rendered helpless because the single Administrator is stuck on the durasteel latrine.

I talked with some folks and I got a lot of interesting opinions. Ultimately... For Free Space, I want to see it grow on its own. And I don't think that will happen as organically or easily, in my opinion, if I'm by myself on some self-appointed perch. I feel that when authorities shared, there's a greater drive for creation, content, etc.

So I'm proposing perhaps adding on a pair of Administrators next to myself as Faction Owner.

Any thoughts? ...Any volunteers? XD Admittedly, we're not a high maintenance crowd, but... it couldn't hurt, could it?

LS's leadership/admin needs are obviously way lower than most, but yeah, on balance, spreading the love is always a good plan.

I think you've gotten my ideas on Skype just a short while ago. LS is quiet but I do think we need some folks to keep it clean, drive activity here or there as needed, manage any issues, etc.

I volunteer though. Now, I did mention I partially disbanded TRA due to time constraints. This is true. For one person to run a faction successfully, its a lot of work. Do I have time to help out with the work spread around? Sure. If we're going to make this sound like a job interview, I've also moderated at SirStevesGuide.Com wayyyy back in the day as the 'Other Collectibles' forum and subforum moderator.

However, if we get many volunteers, perhaps it should be put to a vote or randomized? We do have many greats in this faction.

Kinda the same boat as [member="Judah Dashiell"]. Because the 'work', as it were, would be spread around, I'd volunteer.

It's a good idea. No faction should ever have one, solitary administrator, in my mind. It's simply not wise.

Despite my abuse of Staff Powers (#TyrannyReigns and whatnot) I wouldn't mind an official place among the Faction Admins.

At least there would be no more ninja approvals... >.>

I'd be happy to help. Done the Faction Leader thing before, know how it works. I know I'm not hugely active with Rosa but that is going to change soon.
