Expansion at Hypori and New Toys at Excarga

Hypori was in a flutter of activity. The shipyards were busy as per usual but something new was happening they were being expanded, prefabricated pieces were being delivered and put in place. It was a painfully slow process as they had to line up everything but when finished it would surround the entire planet. It was going to be amazing, and safeguards were already being built into it to try to compensate for the failures at DruckenWell, extra boosters at each piece that hopefully could send the ring into space on break off. That and they were placing shielding around them to enable them to take some damage before buckling.

Excarga was another wonderful place, this system however needed shipyard from scratch and they needed to establish mining operations for funding the shipyard and future ships. Baktoid had shiploads of prefabricated pieces being sent in as they began the slow construction of a shipyard over the planet. Meanwhile refining and mining facilities were being built. This was going to be a long operation as both needed significant time. Xr Mining was doing one part while Baktoid Fleet Ordnance was building the shipyard. It was going to be a long project indeed.

The reason Hypori was moving at such a great speed was because of the land that Baktoid owned below that allowed them to have more factories there than most places. Thanks to the founding of the GTG, Alli Wren still held rights to Baktoid's land. She knew that Santhe had taken much of it but she had focused on hers and used it to great effect. The parts were being built and launched up into space. She had never seen such a flurry of activity. It always was a joy when industrial process was done on large scale. The money she was making from the Confederacy to expand her shipyards for the confederacy's use was amazing. Alli watched reports of components and crews beginning work on the very first of the fine pieces that composed the future shipyards of the Techno Union, used to make mostly Confederacy ships but they were hers so the profit off of them was still hers. She gladly provided a government with their use. After all she wasn't one to shy away from credits.



Excarga was a great system, but had not much in the way of infrastructure. They had to build places of residence and the industrial complexes that would make this system aflutter with activity. Already orbital stockpiles were being made as orbital structures were put together. This was going to be a similar operation to one put in effect in the Republic. The droids and men were busy at work and giving regular reports to corporate. Beginning scans of the asteroids were being taken and plans on how to harvest them. Currently they were going to bring the asteroids into the mining facility and process it directly. It was going to be efficient and mostly droid operated.

Alli was fretting over this and that as she overlooked the status reports. The pieces of the new and improved shipyards were being build and being prepped to be put in place.Hypori was coming along as scheduled and it was a wonderful thing indeed. The fact that the CIS were helping with this project made it even better. Of course CIS ships would be a priority in the new sections but she made money off of those ships so she was fine with that. It would ensure she had some income even from ships she didn't design.

Meanwhile on Excarga most of what was happening was the delievery of the components. Once enough had arrived a station to host the coming residents of the system was began to be built. The station would host the miners and shipbuilders and any one else caring to call the station home. It was painstaking due to the lack of infrastructure on Bakoids part. But it would work. She made do ensuring the necessary parts and people were acquired and built. She was lucky she lost the protectorate's business really, this meant more avability for CIS projects.

Alli rolled her eyes as she looked at numbers of the Hypori Space dock. It seemed to be running smoothly but if it wasn't for the funding from the CIS then it would never of happened. She needed to change that. The Druckenwell incident had put a serious dent in her operations. If it hadn't been for the fact she had been expanding before this, the new profits coming in softening the loss of her facilities in protectorate space. It was time to play with fire. She was going to begin making Baktoid more powerful. She was going to have some fun and it started at Hypori. The shipyard was coming along.

Excarga was going to be a wonderful place to build. Baktoid building and operating the CIS funded shipyards meant she got paid as long as they made ships. She didn't need much at the moment, Having dealt in mostly one of a kind ships she didn't need to use much of the drydocks her self. So she leased them to the CIS so that they could build whatever they needed for their warmachine and once Excarga was online she would see the credits increase quite a bit. She smiled as she got the first report of the preliminary operations center being completed. Now the rest of the shipyards would begin forming around it.
