- Sprightly: The Helizat are stronger and quicker than they look, easily able to catch and overpower most humanoids.
- Force-Sensitive: All Helizat possess force potential, though any use of this beyond variants of Mind Trick are all but unheard-of.
- Knowledge-Thief: Helizat are capable of absorbing skills and information from the brains they devour, though this boon is sadly temporary.
- Feral: While capable of following orders or even operating technology, Helizat disdain armor or weapons, and will never be found using them.
- Blind: While the creatures can somewhat circumvent their natural lack of eyes via use of the Force, they are unable to "see" anything incapable of being affected by Force-based abilities.
- Diet: Cerabvore (Brain-Eaters)
- Communication: Spoken Languages (Typically Galactic Basic), Telepathy
- Technology level: Primitive (Simple clothing, seldom seen using tools)

- General behavior: Helizat are normally found sleeping when not on the hunt, as they have little interest in anything beyond consuming more prey. Occasionally, some may develop a deeper urge for recreational activities, most often those of their victims.
A recent creation of Helix Solutions, the first of these creatures was purported to be of Anzati stock, twisted and changed by Helix himself, using his Nanogene functions to reshape the poor creature into a form more pleasing to him.
The typical Helizat stands slightly taller than their forbears, around 1.9 meters, and has a willowy, almost skeletal body. While of general humanoid shape, these creatures are in fact invertebrates, possessing not only no spinal column, but no bones at all. Only a structure similar to cartilage gives their body any solid foundation. Despite their emaciated appearance, they are deceptively strong and quick, able to close the distance with living prey with startling rapidity. The creatures possess no eyes, instead using the Force to navigate, and possess internal ears. As such, they are largely unable to perceive Force-Dead creatures, or creatures concealed by any other Force-blocking effect.
Helizat appear to not require respiration, and can operate with equal ease in atmosphere, vacuum, or underwater.
Helizat are hermaphroditic, with each being able to both lay eggs and self-fertilize them. It is rare for the creatures to reproduce, and they never seek mates, preferring instead to simply create their own spawn. Still, their numbers are steadily growing, and some have trickled out into organizations allied to Helix, such as the House of Marr, the Tomb Legion, or even the wider Sith Order. A larval Helizat grows to maturity in approximately six standard months, and may live for many centuries.
Helizat are brain-eaters, with their primary feeding implement being a large, retractable proboscis that emerges from the crown of their heads. Unlike their parent species, this appendage is fully capable of cracking bone by its own force, and need not attack brain tissue through the nostrils. Typically, the proboscis is simply driven into the prey's skull at any angle the creature can manage.
Numerous smaller probosces, similar in construction to the cheek tendrils of Anzati, sprout from the creatures' lumpen faces, but these appear to be vestigial, only occasionally being used to help hold a particularly strong victim in place.
Brute force is not all that the Helizat has in its arsenal, however. All Helizat are Force-Sensitive, though it is exceedingly rare for them to develop this ability beyond using it to mesmerize their prey into submission, or evade damage more easily with precognition. Other uses that would be deemed common and elementary to other Force-Sensitives (such as Telekinesis) are rare in the extreme.
While intelligent enough in their way, these creatures are ultimately artificial life forms, created for subservience, and as such have little culture or technology of their own. They can manage to puzzle out such things as the controls of vehicles, given time, but will never create technology or weapons of their own. Armor, too, seems to agitate them, as the creatures display a curious phobia of constriction, refusing to wear any clothing beyond simple cloth garments. As such, they go into battle entirely unprotected, trusting instead to their natural agility and Force-based precognition.
Helix Solutions, being a primarily droid-based organization, has few Force-Sensitives of their own, and thus were the Helizat created. In battle, their tactics are simple; they sprint toward the nearest foe, attempt to mesmerize them, and then attempt to physically overpower them should this fail. Their floppy, boneless physiology and Force-augmented agility allows them to perform swift, serpentine evasions impossible for most other lifeforms in the doing. If successful, they will attempt to crack the victim's skull and decraniate them in a matter of moments. When faced with inedible opponents (such as droids) they will simply attempt to batter them down with brute force, utilizing fist and claw.
Most interestingly, a few of these creatures have been observed using the skills or knowledge of their recent victims, such as a Helizat that recently fed on a pilot displaying intimate knowledge of flying. However, this state is temporary, and the creature will soon revert back into a simple predator.
