(Reactor Core Concept, Hyperspace Gif) (Gat Tambor Permissions)
"It is conceivable that a future scenario may arise in which the galactic powers find ancient Stormseed, subsequently utilizing them to obstruct critical resources and trade routes from the Trade Federation. The deployment of the Praedium Engine will enable us to counteract this ploy effectively."
- Monchar Nick, Neimoidian Hyperspace Professior | Trade Federation |
SPECIAL FEATURES
STRENGTHS
  • Advanced Integrated AI Capabilities
  • Advanced Military Grade Hyperspace Components
  • Praedium Hyperspace Link
    • The Hyperspace Engine is equipped with advanced Military Grade S-Thread Booster technology, which enables it to establish connections with the Localized Praedium Hyperspace Lanes. This capability is particularly significant in the context of navigating hyperspace routes that have been rendered inaccessible due to the disruptive effects of Stormseed technology. By utilizing these specialized boosters, the Hyperspace Engine is able to effectively engage with the localized hyperspace network, thereby facilitating strategic jumps that circumvent obstacles posed by stormseed interference.
WEAKNESSES
  • High Maintenance due to Advanced Systems
  • Significant Cooldown to prevent hyperspace malfunction
  • Highly Unstable due to being an Experimental Prototype

DESCRIPTION

The Galactic Trade Federation stands as the foremost entity in transport and shipping across the galaxy, thereby bearing the obligation to ensure that hyperspace routes remain unobstructed by the galactic powers that may seek to dominate these lanes for their own advantage, thereby restricting the operational space of their rivals.

Although such actions fall within the legitimate rights of all nations to conduct warfare, they nonetheless have a significant impact on the Federation's profit margins. During their research and development activities in the regions formerly known as the Sith Worlds, the Federation encountered a mention of the ancient Stormseed tecnology. This device had previously allowed the Nihil Pirates to obstruct hyperspace routes, effectively isolating entire clusters of systems from the Galactic Republic.

Recognizing that the widespread implementation of such technology would undermine their objectives, the Commanding Viceroy Rulonom Laborr tasked Monchar Nick, a Neimoidian expert in hyperspace, with the development of a hyperspace engine capable of circumventing this device, while simultaneously facilitating the efficient transport of goods and services across the galactic frontier worlds caught in the middle of galactic conflicts.

The development of such a device presented significant challenges, as it had never been necessary to create or utilize one on a galactic scale as required by the Trade Federation Executive Board. Nick formulated numerous theories regarding the navigation of obstructed hyperspace lanes without incurring destruction.

Ultimately, he decided to employ the localized hyperspace routes that interlinked individual systems, which had remained unscathed by the various galactic conflicts and dominions. By utilizing the S-Thread Boosters to establish a temporary hyperspace connection within these localized systems, they could effectively circumvent the stormseed devices strategically placed along the primary hyperspace corridors in order to resume commerce.

Following numerous years of experimentation and refinement conducted on isolated clusters and systems, the Experimental S-Thread Praedium Hyperspace Engine was produced and manufactured in limited quantities, designated exclusively for the largest Merchant Freighters of the Trade Federation. Currently, only a few dozen units exist, and there is potential for the technology to be advanced for mass production in the future.
