SPECIAL FEATURES
An incredibly powerful combat stimulant, Fusillade first entered the market as many evil, destructive things do: from the hand of Helix Solutions. A bile-yellow, viscous substance, Fusillade is traditionally injected intravenously, and the effects are quick to manifest themselves. To the user, time seems to slow down, allowing them to sidestep projectile attacks, duck between the lethal swings of a Jedi's lightsaber, or perceive the individual wingbeats of flying insects. Additionally, the user's strength is enormously increased, allowing baseline humans to bend metal bars or shatter bone with their bare hands. Most interestingly, Fusillade affects the brain's sensibility to pain and shock. Fusillade users have been observed to keep moving and fighting even when horrendously injured, seeming not to notice missing limbs or severe organ damage. The drug, in essence, can make even the common man a serious physical danger, for a short time. Effects last approximately ten minutes per dose at full strength, then gradually fade in potency for another thirty unless refreshed.
The price to pay for this power is severe, however. Those few lucky enough to "go clean" from Fusillade often report that a single shot is enough to lead to complete physiological dependency, and surviving withdrawal is far from guaranteed even under close medical supervision. In the longer term, most lifeform's bodies are not designed to operate at this level, and while Fusillade does grant the user a maddened, adrenaline-fueled strength, it does not actually prevent bodily damage, and those badly injured will usually quickly expire when the drug wears off. Prolonged Fusillade use has been observed to greatly shorten a user's lifespan, quickly wearing out vital organs, muscles, and bone structure as these systems are driven past their normal sustainability. Death from heart failure is common after only a few years of use.
None of this has stopped the drug from quickly becoming popular with criminals, pit fighters, mercenaries and various other scum and villainy, who tend to live short and ugly lives anyway. A whole subculture has slowly sprung up around the substance, with users taking pride in being "short fusers", an apparent play on both their greatly shortened life expectancy, and the drug's common street name, Fuse. Many see the costs as a small price to pay for the ability to be a one-man army... for a time.

SPECIAL FEATURES
- Incredibly addictive
- Deleterious effect on user's health long-term
- Greatly increases user's physical attributes
- Bottled Superman: Once injected, Fusillade grants the user complete insensibility to pain and shock, as well as greatly increased speed, strength, and reflexes for a short period.
- Addictive: Fusillade is extremely addictive, and will inflict severe (and possibly lethal) withdrawal symptoms if abstained from.
- Lethal: Regular Fusillade use can greatly shorten the user's lifespan, and it is rare for habitual users to live more than a few years at best. In the shorter term, users commonly display an ignorance of their own injuries, often leading to reckless behavior or failure to treat serious wounds.
