Description:
Introducing the Vagabond Datapad, a new offering from the scientists and minds behind the Levantine Frontiers Corps. This little datapad has a lot of processing power in it and is used primarily as a data assistant to members of any purchasing exploration or mining company. The Vagabond has several features within its standard operating system. including a geo-synchronizing system, a range finder, camera and extended hard drive space for storage and with an interactive encyclopedia. It should be noted that unless someone makes a download of a particular package, the factory standard is set for a generalized temperate world, and will only be able to dichotomize vegetation and animal so far, while the liquids and geoscanning capabilities will remain the same.
This encyclopedia responds to the camera system and is the primary use of this piece of equipment is to assist with scanning. Able to identify water or liquid samples from an internal slot using a small test tube, and scanning the sample for a variety of pre-set standards. Similarly, it can sample the ambient air and give readings of what the break down of the sample is. Finally, using the camera to take images of various flora and fauna, the Vagabond's system comes within a 90% success rating of identifying a variety of species using photographic or video input, and will provide information on the species regarding safety, edibility, habits, locations, calls and things to look for.
Simply put, the Vagabond is an explorer's and wanderer's best friend.
