Dal'Bor was by no means one of Neela's favorite places to visit. It was busy, bustling, and to her? It felt plain dirty. Not that her current seat within one of the most popular nightclubs in the area helped that any. The scantily clad forms of the women working knew exactly how to earn their tips, and while Neela naturally kept an eye out from her peripheral, she had no desire to watch any of them work. Under normal circumstances, she wouldn't even be here, but right now she had become somewhat desperate.
A target had come up, a job that would pay good enough to keep her set up for quite a while. But the information was hardly existent, and while that was something Neela had dealt with before, this was different. All she had on this target was a name, and that name? It lead to nothing. There were no files, nothing, anywhere, in any system that she could find. Whoever this target was, they wanted to already appear dead - and for good reason, clearly. But apparently they had slipped up somewhere, otherwise the redheaded assassin wouldn't be sitting here now.
She had asked contacts of her own, and eventually one of those gave way to someone who had apparently worked for her target at one point. While admittedly uncomfortable about reaching out to someone she had never dealt with before, Neela had done it. She had sent word to this Startorn, set up a very public place to meet and a time to do so, and now she waited. It wasn't ideal for her, not by any means, but at this point? She was going to do what she had to in order to get this job done.
The payout was well worth the risk.
