ENGINEER FOR HIRE:
HAVE SHIP, WILL TRAVEL
[THEME SONG]
STRENGTHS:
Mechanical Savant
Ezekiel can be said to be something of a genius when it comes to work on complex interlocking systems. He's been able to apply this to ion propulsion drives, repulsion drives, weapon systems and more. He lives entirely for his craft, desiring to eventually own his own company, pushing out his own creations in mass production.
Splicing Wizard
Much for the same aptitude that gifts him in mechanical work, Ezekiel has a brain made for programming as well. He possesses near encyclopedic knowledge of common operating systems, wiring harnesses, along withbugs'features' that made it to production models within the civilian marketplace.
Crack Pilot
Most of Ezekiel's life he's been amongst the stars, growing up with the man who raised him in the very ship he lives out of now. By the time he was old enough to see through the cockpit glass (with the help of a thick Corellian holoaddress book under him) he was flying. That's translated very well into his adulthood, as the ship he flies is his childhood. More man hours have been spent by Zeke repairing the thing than ever was spent building it in the first place.
WEAKNESSES:
Bum Leg
Ezekiel's left leg from the knee down was crushed by a hoist failing in an accident when he was a teenager. He built his own replacement but he doesn't have the money or have the ability to surgically install a cybernetic. As such, his replacement limb is a simple prosthetic. Attached to his vestigial stump and bearing his weight all day leads to constant soreness, aching and chafing. In addition, his ability to get around is hampered somewhat.
No Formal Education
Something that has been frustrating Ezekiel more and more as of late is his inability to find good paying work amongst the core worlds. There people want things. Things he just doesn't have. They want their engineers to have 'degrees' in engineering, have published articles. Various requirements that Ezekiel doesn't possess as a self-educated scrapper who has spent his life nomadically.
