- Technologically Inferior: Though Midvinter is adapting to the galaxy slowly, Ezekiel treats technology that is more advanced as simply magic like those of the gods. As such, when given better armor or weaponry, he will treat it as mythical or divine power.
- Xenophobic: Despite his quest into the galaxy for divine rights and glory like that of the gods, he treats non-Human or non-Valkyri races like they are creatures of darkness and not to be trusted, no matter how peaceful or honest they are. If engaged with them for too long, he will become violent and try to assert his "divine destiny" over "lower forms of life".
APPEARANCE:
For the most part, all images of Ezekiel are true to his appearance; the only difference being that on occasion, he will wear the dried skin of his greatest enemies. At this time, he has furred armor made of a Wookiee he bested in battle (he has no knowledge that wearing this might be illegal, and outside of Midvinter the source of his fur would be unknown, unless he disclosed it or a Wookiee recognized it).
BIOGRAPHY:
Born on Midvinter to a merchant couple, bandits raided their village while Ezekiel was still a baby and killed his parents. The bandit chief, unable to injure the child, returned to the bandit camp with the infant; to the best of Ezekiel's knowledge, his father is the bandit chief and his brothers are his fellow bandits. As he grew older, his new father trained him in defending himself, a trait he picked up quickly, to the point where, at the age of 12, he could best his father in combat. Proud of his decision to raise this new warrior, the chief started to whisper visions to the child of what his father wanted him to become. Prepping Ezekiel to take over for him, as he was growing older and dementia was developing, he started to mix his directions with insane rambling; thus, when the chief eventually passed away in his sleep, a 20 year old Ezekiel saw himself as the new bandit chief...and a demi-god amongst the Valkyri.
Ezekiel directed the bandit camp on raids, fighting beside his brothers, on targeted missions. Assaulting villages, they would steal all the treasure, but burn down all the temples and religious icons, leaving bloody effigies made from the dead as a sign to fear the new "demi-god" and his raiders. Years would go by, villages would rebuild themselves, but the raiders would keep coming.
And then the sky people came.
Then the villages could defend themselves. Ezekiel was slowly something less to fear, and more to hunt and destroy. His raid brothers were destroyed as each day passed, and he needed to escape. So, with a deal from some sky people, Ezekiel and a few of his closest brothers left Midvinter, swearing the return when he could pass swift god-like judgment over all who dared to fight the divine Ezekiel Rainsblend.
