- Fex-M3: The chemical known as Fex-M3 is a potent neurotoxin that attacks both the brain stem and the nervous systems. It can be inhaled or absorbed through the skin, and it affects most species within ten seconds.
- Remote Detonator: The grenade is equipped with a remote detonator feature. This feature is a safety protocol to prevent collateral damage.
- Chemically Irate: The grenade's strongest asset is the Fex-M3 infused chemical. The blast radius of the grenade from explosion point is five meters and is dispersed in cloud form.
- Enviromental Challenges: Since the gas is automatically dispersed upon detonation, it's obviously not controllable. Certain elements of the environment can affect the flow of the gas, such as wind. The gas will maintain its position until it feathers out after a couple of minutes, however, high winds to a gentle breeze can push the gas further from its detonation point, which can cause harm to innocents or infect other targets than the previous ones. Rain has a high effect on the gaseous cloud, which will literally cancel out the hovering gas.
The concept behind the creation of this grenade is eliminate targets without need for high explosions, or to incur deaths. The chemical FEX-M3 is a neurotoxin that directly attacks the nervous system of most species, which ultimately attacks bodily functions such as interfering with signal transmissions from the brain to the nerves that run through a species physical make-up. Within ten seconds of absorption or inhalation, the target or targets can experience full loss of body functions and loss of consciousness, collapsing to the ground. The chemical in gas form cannot kill a target, but if the chemical is injected into the bloodstream, death can occur. The time of unconsciousness varies by species, but the time for most species is thirteen minutes.
Each grenade comes standard equipped to a remote detonator device; thus, the grenades do not explode on contact. The remote detonator system is a safety protocol to prevent non-intended targets getting caught in the gas cloud; and suffering the effects of those intended.
