- Beskar: Like just about every screwdriver and salad fork that comes from Mandalorian space, Fabula's armor is made primarily from beskar. This makes it extremely resilient to energy-based attacks from blasters and plasma throwers, as well as extremely resistant to lightsabers.
- Reinforced: While beskar isn't the best at handling kinetic damage, Fabula's armor has been reinforced with layered durasteel-on-beskar plating. This makes it much more rugged in regards to kinetic attacks.
- No Sonic Shielding: Since Fabula doesn't often face sonic weapons, she hasn't bothered to mount a defense against them. What meager resistance she has against sonic attacks comes from general-purpose armorweave resilience, leaving her vulnerable to even moderate-yield sonic small arms.
- Heavy: Fabula is beastly strong, but in her head that doesn't translate to "move easily in lighter armor." Instead, she just got heavier armor. This somewhat limits her acrobatic nonsense and makes it a bit harder to avoid things she needs to avoid.
Years ago, Fabula Cavataio left one family to find a new one. The Mandalorian clan Caromed isn't terribly big, nor terribly important. They are, however, a shining example of the "family first" portions of the Resol'nare. No Caromed faces anything alone, and no Caromed is ever without a home. While her partner [member="Lynn Caromed"] runs and manages clan affairs from Taris as their alor, Fabula may be the clan's only real errant warrior. It took her years to convince herself she needed it for anything more than ceremony, but eventually Fabula did hunt down one of Lynn's cousins to help her forge a genuine set of armor more appropriate to the life she'd adopted.
Now, after years on the Outer Rim, it's had to go through a few refits. Whereas once Fabula favored mobility and insisted her armor accommodate that, now she's learned the value of just not dying. Reinforced with layered plates of durasteel and beskar over an insulated armorweave suit, Fabula's beskar'gam is very simple, but rugged. No bells or whistles. It's built to take hits and nothing else.
