Faction deletion and archive notice

A notice was sent to the GR Faction Staff on December 6th that the Board staff is cleaning up off of "popular factions" defunct high member inactive factions. As none of the GR faction staff have read the notice, I am placing a general alert here.

So on December 10th, we will archive the threads and delete the Galactic Republic Forum. All threads will still be available in the archives. Those members who would like to remake the Galactic Republic are more than welcomed to after the archive process is done.

The 800 plus membership of the Galactic Republic is not a true representation of activity in "Popular Factions."

As such, this forum will have its contents archived and removed in order to reflect that.
The active members who are still part of the Galactic Republic may remake the forum after this one has been archived and start anew with fresh membership.

Oh wow, talk about being really late to the party. I finally got my membership (re)approved only to read this. Ouch. So will the archives be accessable by everyone on the board or just former members of the faction? I kind of want to read / skim through everything I have missed in my absence and see what happened. Do not think I can do that within the time limit of tomorrow.

Also I would really like to not loose the posts I have inside the faction as some of my beginning work was great for starting out on the site.
