Faction Switching?

So I now have a second character I'm playing as, Torn, he is a Sith Apprentice currently. I'm wondering, when he isa knight can he maybe see something that makes him have a change of heart and go from Sith to the Jedi?

As long as it makes IC sense, yes. As in you have a storyline that leads up to it. Also the faction you go to will have to be okay with it, like Jedi probably wouldn't trust a Sith right away so you'd have to convince them.
