Factions come and Factions go, but Crime is Forever

Tatooine
The Watering Hole Cantina
Corruck Kazen
Corruck walked into the bar, pushing aside one of the bouncers. Of course there was little in this bar to give him reason for being here. He had better things to do, yet here he was waiting for possible candidates. He had planned so carefully for this, paying the owner to make sure that no possible enemies could slip in without trouble and that the west section of the bar would be off-limits to all but the most interesting characters. He had also set up one of his men as a bartender, just in case things got rough.

He had let a number of messages 'slip accidentally' onto the Holonet. That way there would be at least a few people who may come. Even if it failed then at least he would get a few drinks and maybe set up a link with this bar. A good place to start.... Corruck snapped himself out of his reverie when he noted a few people walk into the area. Some appeared to be bounty hunters, but he was no expert in the matter. He waited to see what would happen, knowing at some point he would have people coming to see him for recruitment. But even as he waited, he could feel his mind slipping, wondering. So much had happened.

Skosk would go alone on this endeavor, the brute wore his green, heavy, beskaram. His armor gave him the appearance of a green, massive, tank, showing off his toughness, that he had earned up to this point. The brute towered over the crowd, his T-Visor scanning the area , he was wielding his grenade launcher, a gift ,from a good friend. It had the ability to fire almost any assortment of grenades, including the deadly force breaker's , which while more targeted toward blinding force user's, could easily do the same to none force users. It's classification was obviously of heavy weaponry, it fired explosive material for kark sake ! Aside from the weapon he wielded, the brute could be seen as intimidating to others, especially his display of the massive biceps he had, or his muscular size overall. The bouncer's had let the brute through, usually the mandalorian never armed himself this well in a bar, but for a business trip? This was a different story, for the mercenary, he had to make a good impression, it was apart of the super commando code, which he followed, just like the Resol'nare. Now where was the recruiter?

I'm...the Dreadi
He walked into the cantina, his arms were crossed, and his dreads bounced on his shoulders with every step. His lightsaber was kept in a sheath on his back, and he had two daggers on each leg in their respective holsters. Why in the Kark had he been contact? He hoped this wasn't some set up....he had been in those type of situations before, and quite frankly he didn't feel like severing hands, and cutting throats. The blacking of eyes, well....he kinda like that part. As his boots hit the flooring beneath him he turned his head to look amongst all these soo called bouncers, mercenaries, and bounty hunters. Some of them knew his name obviously from the way they glared at him, but him being the charmer he is, he threw winks and head nods everywhere. He was searching for someone though, some type of recruiter, now what could he possibly need with a guy like him.

This was night where he rather be hitting up some spice, than spending a night here with some lames.

Corruck stood for a moment yelling in his best neutral tone, "Tender! Rounds for everyone!" He felt that that would lighten the mood enough and maybe loose some tongues. He then spoke again, "When you feel you are ready can the first person come and see me." He knew that at this point few people would want to come and talk to him, the drinks were more important to most. This was Corruck's way of threshing off the less serious people. Those who truly wanted to be part of the Consortium would not be distracted by the drinks and would likely come to him almost immediately. That would show him where their loyalties were. His mind calculated the possibilities of how many people would actually not succumb to the drink. It did not enhance any hope that he had. His mind guessed that before long, at least two-thirds of the room would be a drunken mess and at most seven-eighths.

He sighed to himself as he waited, watching quietly. Heh, maybe something to call himself, silent watcher. He thought to himself as a drink was placed in front of him by an agent of his. At least he could keep up appearances. He nodded to the agent who stepped away, slipping a few credits to the owner who was overseeing the area at the moment.

The mandalorian brute was the first to step forward, it looked as if Corruck was testing him. The old fashioned way, Skosk sat right in front of the recruiter, the zabrak was dangerous. Many ,fortunately, could tell, but there seemed to be less of a worry, the mountain of muscle looked calm, and confident through his T Visor. " I hear you are looking for, a more deadlier gun for hire, unlike the cheap ones you currently have now." , the mercenary was direct, fearless. " As you can see, I am equipped with facing almost anyone, and my training is just as good.". Skosk pointed at his grenade launcher, used by most mandalorians looking for heavy weaponry, it could be equipped with about any type of grenade round possible, including force breakers. A gas type grenade that had the special properties of disorienting a force user, and cutting them off from the force for hours on end. The giant was incredibly, massive, compared to anyone in the cantina, even the human across him. This would be another selling point later on, the athlete couldn't be to pushy. " My services extend to fighting wars of any kind, to a simple bodyguard mission, if you recruit me, I wont stop, until I get your specified job done, or until I am dead. ". After making his major sell point he sat silent, later the two could discuss payment, first he needed to get his future long term employer, hooked, hopefully he did not talk for to long, or that would be a strike.

Corruck listened with feigned disinterest. He had expected some to come through the first test, but not a large person like this. He allowed his expression to change to a knowing smile, obviously this was also not a true indication to his emotions at the moment. He could guess why the man said what he had. The life of a hunter was to sell himself in the most appealing way possible. It was a trick that Corruck has used once or twice in his younger years, now though he did not need it. He replied calmly, "Very good. You will find an employment position in the Consortium, however I must warn you that if you are captured or in anyway forced to be withheld from the Consortium then all information you may have on us must not fall into anyone else's hands. As such, you must agree that if you are captured then you must be silenced in whatever way the Leadership would find most efficient based on the circumstances. Is this clear? I however doubt that it will ever come to that, with your...expertise." His eyes glinted life the cold steel of a sword at night. He had every intention of following through with the threat if it came to it. But he doubted that it would, this man seemed capable and this was more like another test. If a person showed their willingness to work even under those conditions then they would be a most dangerous asset indeed.

Corruck intentionally did not mention himself as a part of the leadership, he would be a target then. This allowed him for the moment to be practically anonymous in this recruitment. Good thing too, for he still had a few enemies, enemies that may soon become targets.

He was in, good, the recruitment seemed to be successful, he now had a long term employer, someone who had a lot of money to give. If he did his job correctly, the terms were something he expected, he would work with this. But, he would like to ask of something, " I agree to the terms, I doubt many would be able to catch me. But, I have one question, would I at least get a beautiful death, if I was in such a scenario?" . The giant grinned, behind his T visor, the recruiter could not see this, but it was expected he was in fact grinning. Skosk was equip, for whatever came, he decided whether he died or lived, many times he had cheated death. Being a mercenary of his stature, he had too, so living with these conditions was not a problem, " Who do I report to? I will be discreet, it is a policy with all my clients.". While the muscle bound monster was not smart, he at least had to act like it.

Corruck let a small laugh through his mental processes. It never reached his lips, but in its stead came the words, "In regards to your death, it is completely up to the Leadership based on a situation to situation answer. It may be a very good death, but most of the time we end with 'accidental' deaths." He then took a moment, knowing that he had not shown his complete understanding of the humor. It would be much simpler to keep that sort of thing for when he actually could enjoy it. Here there was little to be gained with humor, for as a recruiter he was a nobody and it was the overall leader that this man wanted to see. He continued in his apparent lack of humor by answering the next question without a blink. "You will report directly to the Leadership itself, however at the moment I will need to ask a few questions."

Corruck picked up a datapad from beside him, it had all the pertinent information about the men in the room. He had had one of his agents work like a rented mule to get all this. He matched the person in front of him with a list of information. Opening the file he turned to the hunter asking, "What is your name? Your age? And your current status in regards to the governments of the galaxy?" He knew a few of the answers, but it was a test to see how the man would respond.

Information was always needed if someone went rogue, it was just normal business, he had nothing to hide. "I am Skosk Fett, my age is twenty five, and I will fight anyone. As long as I do not kill my own brethren, the mandode." . Skosk felt strongly about this, he would not betray his allit, he had a code, that was simple. The resolar, and the super commando codex, he followed them to the death ,and beyond to manda, he knew that this organization had known this fact. Every mandalorian believed the same thing, or they were not real mandalorians at all, they would be smart not to send him against his own brothers in arms. It may turn him rogue, having a mandalorian as an enemy was never smart, unless you wanted a gruesome death. The brute waited for the recruiters reaction, it seemed he did not get the humor, this was ok, when Skosk is on a payroll he would keep it professional anyway.

"Very good, you will be given your first target by the Leadership. It will be waiting for you at this ship in two hours." He turned the pad around, showing the position of a ship in a spaceport. There the man would obviously be either picked up by Corruck if he had finished here by then, which he planned on, or one of his agents who would give an appropriate reason for the 'Leadership' not being there. Corruck took a moment before turning part his attention to the crowd, "Just between you and me, I wish you the best of luck sir. The Leadership is very strict and right now it is quite unpredictable." This was Corruck enjoying himself a little much, the intent was to leave this employee in uncertainty, even slightly. It was Corruck's way of keeping himself somewhat released, he had kept up a very serious face as he had said this, but inside his mind was relaxed and laughed lightly to itself. He wondered how the man would respond.

At the same time, he watched the people around the area, only a few were sitting away from the bar. He wondered who would come quickest to him afterwords.

With the conversation ended, the soldier of fortune would most likely not see the human again. Skosk nodded respectfully, it was always good to make sure he showed respect to them. If the mercenary did not, he may not get another contract, which is not so good, considering he had a son to train. The green tank stood up, grabbing his grenade launcher , he never drank on the job, and rarely drank even with his fellow mandalorian brothers. Seeing as there was nothing else to do, he would walk out toward the exit, shoving a skinny deveronian aside. That was the only being, stupid enough, not to pay attention were the dangerous zabrak went. He was lucky that all came about of him, he hit the wall behind him hard, again the crowd in fear, even minutes after he left. The giant would begin walking at his own pace, he had plenty of time, to get to the ship.
