This is probably a silly question, but do you need to ask the faction leader if you can join their faction before joining? I just want to make sure before I do anything.

This is probably a silly question, but do you need to ask the faction leader if you can join their faction before joining? I just want to make sure before I do anything.

Some factions are invite only, but many - including all major factions - are open for anyone to join.

Basically, if it lets you join, you can join!
