- Diagnostic Chip - Diagnostic system runs automatic maintenance checks on the whip and is able to identify parts, systems, and components in need of repair or replacement.
- Electronics and Communications Suite - Integrated electronics and communication suite that links to virtually any system, allowing the wielder to obtain hard data from the whip’s systems, such as running temperatures, stability, diagnostic information, Etc.
- Mono-Molecular Edge - Treated with Svolten Rhyolite, the whip’s bladed edges can retain their integrity and cutting power even after undergoing hard impacts with the blade of a lightsaber or with especially dense materials.
- Poison Reservoir - The Silri has a poison reservoir that is compatible with a range of different poisons, treating the blade with the poison inside the reservoir. However, only one poison type can be deployed in the reservoir of a single blade at a time. Naturally, the reservoir can be left empty as well, should the wielder choose it.
- Devaronian Blood-Poison - Devaronian Blood-Poison has the potential to cause extreme, potentially debilitating pain upon making contact with a victim’s flesh with even a glancing hit.
- Senflax - Senflax has the potential to induce paralysis or numbing effects in a victim’s body. It can also compromise a person’s focus, possibly disrupting their ability to harness the Force.
- Blood Boiler - Arguably the most gruesome of the compatible poisons, when introduced into a victim’s bloodstream Blood Boiler has the potential to turn their blood into acid, possibly inflicting excruciating pain and even causing a victim’s body to eat itself from the inside out.
- Sith Poison - Most often utilized against Jedi and Light-aligned warriors, Sith Poison has the potential to amplify the rage felt by a victim by triggering a chain of chemical reactions that diminishes their ability to resist the Dark Side.
- Mgehye ot Lloig | Ruiner of Mind - Mgehye ot Lloig has the potential to inflict a wide range of effects on a victim, the most prominent of which might include vivid, terrifying hallucinations and weakened willpower.
- Trapped Grip - Controlled by an integrated biometric authentication access control system which allows only the designated wielder and anyone they permit to activate and wield the whip. The hilt will discharge a potent electrical energy field in the event that the weapon is handled by an unauthorized agent, with the potential to cause severe burn injuries to the victim.
- Blade Retraction System - The blades can collapse within the center tassel of the weapon for safe and easy storage.
- Ultrasonic Vibration Generator - A high-grade vibration generator, the ultrasonic vibration generator causes the blades to vibrate with extreme speed and force, giving the weapon the ability to tear through flesh, hard organic carapace, stone, and durasteel. In addition, the blades have the potential to inflict devastating, eviscerating wounds and possibly even dismember, with only a touch.
- Resilient Construction - Owing to its resilient construction, the Silri is very resistant to lightsabers, vibroblades, and energy weapons.
- Reach - The Silri has a long reach even for a weapon of its class, allowing the wielder to strike targets from relative safety.
- Poison Edges - The Silri has a poison system to treat the blades with a given poison inside the reservoir. These poisons have the potential to inflict a host of deadly effects, possibly compromising a victim’s ability to fight, in the process.
- Flexible Attack - The flexible nature of the Silri allows the weapon to potentially bypass or circumvent many conventional defensive strategies and techniques that might be effective when employed against standard lightsabers or blades.
- Void Stone - The synthetic Void Stone integrated into the Silri makes the weapon extremely difficult to detect or counter via the direct manifestations of the Force. However, since only a minute amount of the material was incorporated into the weapon, its effects are largely negligible in disrupting a Force-sensitive individual's overall connection to the Force. The radius of Force disruption is only just wide enough to cover the razor whip itself, thereby protecting it from direct applications of the Force.
- Slasher - The Silri has excellent cutting power owing to its ultrasonic vibration blades, allowing the weapon to cut through conventional materials with relative ease.
- Resilient - The grade of Fyrirdögun used in the Silri is comparable to beskar in strength and resiliency. As such, the weapon is incredibly strong, able to withstand severe punishment.
- Poor Defense - Due to its flexible construction, the Silri is not reliable or practical for blaster bolt deflection under any given circumstances. The weapon is also ill-suited to blocking incoming melee attacks.
- Energy Shields - Particle-based energy shields are capable of blocking a strike from the Silri.
- Concealability - While typically wielded with one hand, the Silri is a physical blade that can not be readily concealed on a person in the same manner as a lightsaber. In this regard, it is very much a battlefield weapon.
- Circumvented - Indirect applications of the Force (using the Force to generate bursts of pressurized air, generate electricity, generate fire, Etc.) are still effective in defending against the Silri.
- Acid Spit - Due to its Fyrirdögun construction, the Silri is susceptible to damage from acid weapons, which are capable of eating through the material and possibly rendering the weapon as little more than a hunk of degraded metal.
- Tight Quarters - Due to its length and the sweeping movements necessary to wield it, The Silri suffers in tight quarters.
Christened after Silri—a legendary Dathomiri Nightsister known for her mastery of the lightwhip—the FAE/M-04 “Silri” Energized Razor Whip is a weapon that is every bit as violent and horrific as its namesake. An incredibly dangerous weapon, the Silri demands a high level of technical skill to be effective in combat, else a wielder might find that they are more of a danger to themselves than to their opponents. Should competence be achieved, the Silri can be an excellent crowd control weapon, allowing the wielder to engage and (potentially) scythe through groups of enemies at once. In addition, the Silri is not lacking in cutting power, giving the weapon the potential to bite, rip, tear, and eviscerate targets with terrifying efficiency.
All in all, the Silri is an uncompromisingly brutal design that can work both ways for the uninitiated.
