The FAE/SW-12 Sniper Laser Cannon is a heavy, ultra-long range particle beam laser cannon developed and manufactured by First United Astral Engineering. In this regard, the SW-12’s defining characteristic is its extreme range, making it one of the few laser cannon models on the market capable of engaging targets at standoff distances. In this regard, the SW-12’s extreme range is a significant boon, as it allows the user to engage targets while in turn minimizing their exposure to defensive fire.
- Maximum Power - The SW-12 is to the standard small craft or vehicle-grade laser cannon as a heavy anti-materiel rifle is to the typical slugthrower rifle. Accordingly, it is a weapon with an extremely high damage potential, sitting just under a turbolaser in terms of raw energy output.
