STRENGTHS
- Hard as Nails: Typical for most forms of Beskar’gam, Faison’s set is highly resistant to energy & kinetic type weapons, including lightsaber variants.
- Versatile: With the modular attachments built into this armor, this enables Faison to be prepared for a variety of tactical situations
- Stealthy: While this armor is suitable for a variety of combat situations, it is specially designed and built to cater to Faison’s combat style - namely moving with relative silence and ease to perch atop a craggy outcropping or within dense foliage, given its comparative light weight and build-in sound dampening unit.
WEAKNESSES
- Sonic Weaponry: Despite its heavy resistances to most damage types, sonic weaponry is not among them. In fact, one could say that its properties render it particularly susceptible to sonic blasts.
- Disruptor Weaponry: While not completely inadequate to the task, this set of armor cannot withstand disruptor bolts with any consistency. At best, the piece of armor a disruptor bolt would come in contact with would result in a breach, rendering the wearer defenseless for any following shots in the same location.
- Sensitive Subsystems: Despite this armor containing average Ion & ECM/EMP resistances, should the casing of the armor be breached, the intricate subsystems of the armor would be susceptible to disruption from typical means.
DESCRIPTION
Although every Mandalorian of renown can lay claim to their own unique set of Beskar’gam, Faison’s set is as much sentimental as it is practical. Bearing the crest of Clan Kelborn, namely a falcon with wings outstretched, upon the left shoulder pauldron, which is slightly oversized compared to the left in the form of a shield. While the majority of the armor was forged within the fires of the Enclave’s quartermaster on Kestri, the shoulder pads were reforged from his previous set of Beskar pads inherited from his father, along with his vambraces which were reforged to allow for additional modability. Additionally, it also serves as a means of forging a new identity for Faison as he forms stronger ties within the Enclave, symbolically ‘shedding’ his older persona as a criminal whose only loyalty is to that of the highest bidder.
Overall, the armor is also designed to serve as a near-perfect union between durability and flexibility given Faison’s preference for stealthy, tactical operations. From the tactical HUD and sensor suite within the helm, to the plethora of wrist-mounted weapons, Faison is well prepared for nearly any tactical situation he could find himself in, which is a necessity given his expertise for engaging in solo operations requiring more precise movements.
