The 'Falx' bracer system comes complete with extendable blades, twin grapnel launchers, and a rapid-fire SMG built-in.
The dark green denotes the attachment points to body armor.
The bracer wraps around the armor to keep it attached, which helps reduce recoil significantly.
The SMG barrels extend to fire, providing increased accuracy even at short ranges.
The self-shaping ammunition rapidly shapes from seeds, forms, then self-sharpens as it exits the barrel.
The chemically-induced launching system is quiet but not silent.
Twin blades, formed from potency material built into the front of the bracer.
Twin grapnel launchers, with flexible potency material giving each blade a range of up to 150 meters, or a single blade a range of 300 meters.

- High firing rate offsets the low damage of the slugs
- Features new Sylva Vitae rapid-forming weaponry - the slugs from seed ammo storage, the twin daggers and grapnel launchers from potency materials built into the bracer
- Very high firing rate allows for suppressive fire in close combat situations
- Recoil is directly compensated by mounting the bracer directly to the armor. When coupled with standard SV biotech, the bracer actually 'welds' to the armor, becoming a unified system.
- Small physical size allows it to be fairly unobtrusive on the armor, little more than a large blister.
- Combination SMG, twin punch dagger, and grapnel launcher allows for extremely versatile usage in a variety of situations
- Cannot be fired without connecting to the armor system, whether that is SV-compatible or otherwise
- Low damage output from small & organic slugs
- No actual protection - the bracer isn't armor, it is a weapons system first and foremost.
- Limited ammunition requires constant reloading
The 'Falx' bracer system is designed for emergency situations, primarily. The SMG has an impressive rate of fire but very limited ammunition; it is meant to be a spray-and-pray weapon for the most extreme circumstance
Not intended for combat beyond the most dire of circumstances, the 'Falx' is a last-ditch resort system, small and unobtrusive on the armor but with lethal potential. While not providing any armor protection in and of itself, it can be mounted to SV biotech, and indeed is designed to be spliced at will, depending on mission parameters. A flagship for the future of SV biotech, the 'Falx' will be the herald for a new type of Sylva Vitae combined systems.
