Family matters, family problems, family Duel!

[member="Diego Ticon"]

It had been a rough couple of days for Lisa. After so many missions and so much killing she was beginning to feel worn out. It was strange that she had so many family members. Her older Cousin Colap never ceased to astound her with his boundless energy and endless wits.

But she was no braggart or famous criminal. Lisa was a small time merc and a savage woman, who drank the blood of her foes. So much savagery took it's toll on her. As she sat wallowing in misery she slammed back another shot from her bottle of whiskey, feet up on the table at the Dragon Palace.

She had messaged her other family member Diego to come kick it. He seemed the closest match to her savagery and lowlifness. Now she just waited....

Diego Ticon was not a happy camper. When he arrived at the Dragon Palace Casino, he had been unceremoniously frisked and his weapons had almost been confiscated. First, he had done some name dropping, bellowing loudly that he was a Ticon kark it! How dare they take his weapons away! Then after much hemming and hawing, Diego discovered that the guards were much more amendable to bribes.

He was meeting his cousin Lisa for drinks and family bonding or whatever passed for that in his family. He spied Lisa at the bar, of course, looking morose. No problemo. Ol' Diego would cheer his cousin up.

"'Sup Lisa. How's it hangin?" He grabbed her drink and took a sip, slamming the glass down on the bar, emphasizing his arrival. "No offense Lisa, but you look terrible."

Lisa smiled venomously at her cousin. He had come in with a such a loud gusto she had sensed the disturbance he created through the force. Not to mention she could hear him bellowing at the guards. As she slammed back another drink she snapped her fingers rudely at the bartender.

"Oy fetch me another bottle cretin!"

The bar tender scowled and she flashed her teeth in a deadly grin.

"Do it, or I'll cut your finger off!"

Seconds later a second bottle arrived and she stood facing her cousin, rage slowly bubbling inside her from his previous comment.

"So I'm the terrible looking one. You're the baby that cried when they took your weapons!"

She laughed maniacally.

"Plus you look like you just came from a nerfherding camp!"

with that she slammed another slug back, then continued to stare at her cousin, seeing what he would do.

"Damn, girl. What the frell!" Diego said. He'd barely even gotten two words out of his mouth when Lisa was going full-on nuclear, lobbing insults at him left and right. In Diego's world of swoop bike gang-banging that meant only one thing. Fight it out. He didn't want to have to resort to violence with his cousin, but he felt that right now he'd be doing the world and himself a favor by putting her in a time-out of sorts. Plus, he knew it was petty, but those insults were riling him up.

"Slow your roll, woman." He shoved her roughly, a little tough love from one Ticon to another. Then he jabbed his finger in her face, growling. "Talk to me like that again and see what I do, huh?"

Another terrible laugh escaped from Lisa. This one was so ladden with dark energy that even the bartender cringed as the awful sound hit his eardrums causing them to bleed .

"No stop!"

The bartender had seen her pop off before and immediately ran off to fetch help. This was too much for Lisa who was very unstable however and she reacted to the push instantly by raising her outstretched palm to her cousin. He was family yes, and family love sometime got a little bloody. Plus he was a cocky arrogant little prick.

"See what you do with this ol' swoopdawg!"

A massive force push emanated from her palm and she cackled evilly again, shattering glasses across the bar. Shards of glass clinked as the rained down around them.

Diego flinched as the glasses broke around them. That was the last straw. The gloves were frelling off now. He wasn't about to let himself be pushed around by a crazy woman, cousin or no. Diego was ready to tango.

The young Ticon thug backed up a few paces, and bounced on the balls of his feet, wrapping his hands around an electro-whip strapped to his thigh. He was enjoying this. "Ok, Lisa. You asked for it. Let's go, baby!" Diego glanced over at the bartender and nearby patrons. "Family business. Nothing to see here, move along."

Diego flicked the switch on his weapon to stun and cracked the electro whip with the speed of a predatory animal, the length of the whip unfurling, and snapping the drink out of Lisa's hand.

"There's more where that came from, cousin." Diego growled. "Come on and show me what you got!"

She was livid. One thing to call her a girl or woman. To snatch her drink, Lisa screeched as loud as she could and roared with rage as the elctro whip burned her hand where it had snatched her drink. He was good with the whip, but how was he with the force. For years she had eschewed her saber skills, focusing purely on Telekenisis, now was the time to show this little rotten Ticon what she had.

With agility like a demon she leaped onto the counter and raised both hands, summoning shards of glass and a wall of bottles from the racks. Her legendary fury bruned deep in her soul as she grinned and cast both palms forwards, launching a storm of glass and bottles at Diego. He'd be hard press to dodge it even with his fancy lightwhip.

Diego Ticon hit the deck as the shards of broken glass came flying his way. Tiny bits of glass nicked his skin, making him howl in pain. His crazy queen of a cousin was unleashing her Force fury on him, and as he was part of the same Force-attuned bloodline, he could feel his own burgeoning powers rising up within him like a tempest.

After the glass finished landing on the plush carpet with a tinkling sound, Diego rose back up to his feet, as quick as a cat, and placed his other hand out in front him. He exerted all of the will he could muster, altering the air currents around them both, attempting to push Lisa back as hard as he could.

Lisa wasn't expecting the force push and it caught her completely off guard. As the air slammed into her she flew backwards back colliding with the bar. The armour saved her from cracking her spine but she still felt it and it hurt. With searing pain arcing down her back she gritted her teeth. It seemed her little cousin was getting strong in the force.

With her teeth still gritted she stood and faced him, blood oozing from where some of the glass had flown back at her.

"Thats all you got cuz?"

This time she went all out, activating every sore spot in her memory and working up the frenzy of hatred locked within her. As the cage bars broke pure evil broke forth washing over her in an intoxicating mixture. Both hands came up again and this time she lifted the chairs and the tables, flinging them towards her cousin with a zeal and ferocity she had never known existed...

Diego was as surprised by the strength of his blow as his cousin was. After the death of his parents had awakened the Force in the young Ticon, he had only recently begun to dabble in attempts to harness his powers, and he'd never actually released a wave of energy that severe yet. He worried that maybe he'd gone too far. He didn't want to kill Lisa, he just wanted to put her in her place. Then those thoughts faded away as she was back on her feet, bloodied and spitting mad.

As she taunted him, Diego raised his electro-whip and cracked it at his side threateningly, causing a few nearby casino patrons to jump and scatter.

Then Lisa completely lost it. Casino furniture came barrelling his way with the speed of a hurricane, and Diego was knocked backwards, a chair hitting him squarely in the guts with a crack.

He lay on the plush carpet, the wind knocked out of him, covered in wood splinters. Despite being injured, he started to scramble to his feet before the crazy she-devil could advance on him.

Lisa backed up when the chairs hit her cousin, holding her hands at the low ready and crouching. So far she had thrown all the punches but was eager to see what her cousin could pull off.

"Don’t be a weakling, you started this, now lets see what you really got!"

Now on his feet, Diego grinned and spit out a bloody tooth. It wasn't very smart of his cousin to give him an opportunity he could seize. But from the looks of her, she didn't get the brains of the family. His eyes narrowed at her latest crack. She seemed to be forgetting that she had started this, not he. But he was damn well going to finish it.

He chuckled as he stared her down. "You wanna see what I got, Lisa? Well, you played the music, and now I'm gonna dance."

Diego cracked the electro-whip again, aiming it towards her leg. The maneuver would force the coil of the whip to wrap around her thigh, simultaneously unleashing enough voltage to shock that smirk right off her face.

The whip impacted squarely on her leg wrapping itself around and her eyes went wide with pain and terror. A scream escaped her as the pain lanced her body. Pain was good though, she reveled in pain and despair. They were tools to her, tools to be used and use them she did. Gritting her teeth she focused her pain into the rage inside her heart and twisted her leg to the side, hoping to knock her arrogant little cousin off balance.

"C'mere boy!"

Her other hand made a sweeping motion towards him in an effort to drag him in close with the force.....

Diego's crazy cousin actually seemed to enjoy the thousand volts of electricity coursing through her leg. "Give up yet, cousin?" He taunted as he yanked at the whip, trying to pull her off her feet.

He'd thought she'd be done for by now, but boy was he wrong. The electricity only seemed to make her stronger. By the sheer strength of her will and her Force power, she pulled him right off his feet and he flew backwards careening towards her.

Instead of panicking, he mustered up as much concentration as he could and he reached deep down, unearthing enough of his own raw power to rival hers. As the young biker was pulled along the carpet, giving him the worst rug burn, he extended his arm out to the side, and used the Force to lift a large bottle of Chadrian rum. The bottle flew right smack at Lisa's head with the speed of a bullet.

Lisa felt the bottle impact with her head and screeched in pain as it exploded on contact. Glass shards cut her face and blood dribbled into her eyes. The rum burned her eyes as it splashed into them as well and she was temporarily blinded. With the whip still wrapped around her leg and the burning sensation left by the missile she was forced to release Diego.

with one hand she reached down and grabbed the whip uncoiling it and flinging it to the side.

But now Diego was within range and this was her forte. Still half blind she moved straight to the ground leaping down to her knees attempting to pin him to the ground in a full mount. Her hands interlocked above her head as she summoned every ounce of rage and pain into a matrice of darkness. Small arcs of electricity began to wreathe her fists. Force lightning, albeit very weak, but still enough to give pause to most adversaries.

"You like electricity! How about you get some yourself cousin!"

The hands split and came down, in an attempt to land on his chest and send the purple blue crackling energy through his body in a brief jolt.

With Lisa straddling him and striking him with crackling purple Force lightning, Diego shrieked, his painful hollering loud enough to finally grab the attention of the Red Raven security guards who started running helter-skelter around the casino.

Diego continued to lob curses in seven different alien languages. His chest burning, Diego attempted a supine kip-up to try and throw his cousin off. When that didn't work, he grabbed two fistfulls of Lisa's hair and yanked as hard as he could, attempting to use the pain to disrupt her flow.

"Get off me you ugly, lazy, mean, no-good frippin' Chuff-sucker!"

Ah family, always a sweet reunion. Colap had been sleeping when the local Marshalls he had installed came slamming at his door. He awoke with a start, slinging his blaster at the door.

"Who's that!"

"Hey man, I think two of your family members are downstairs, sounds like a crazy chick and your little bor, they're fraking up the whole ower suites, figured we'd come get you before we had to do something."

Damnit. Colap got up and reached for his brown vest, slapping it on and opening the door. His eyes were bloodshot and his haior was amess. The hangover of his headache still throbbed.

"This better be super serious and y owe ma damn drink Norrington."

Norrington grinned.

"She's throwing tables and bottles around the room with the damned force sir, I'ts serious."

"Hmm." Colap grumbled.

Minutes later he was down in the suite and walked in to the sight of Lisa electrocuting the Frak out of her little brother, who appeared to be grabbing her hair in a pathetic attempt to win. With a shake of his head Colap walked in and swung a haymaker punch at Lisa's unsuspecting head. She fell over whith a

THWACK!

Colap pushed her limp body to the side and grabbed his little brother by the sirt pulling him up from the ground.

"Y'know, y'all better have a goodass explanation for all this!"

All of sudden the burning stopped and Lisa went flying sideways. Diego heard a familiar grizzled voice and realized his big brother Colap was now getting in on the action. His flesh wasn't even done sizzling as he felt himself yanked up by his shirt.

He stood before his brother and shook his head, his brain fuzzy from being electrocuted within an inch of his life by his crazed cousin. Then he just shrugged.

"Honestly, I don't even remember what we were fighting about."

"Cool sounds great little punk. You owe me a drink, now wake 'er up and make good ok?"

Colap could not believe the destruction the two of them had caused. Tables, bottles, hell the entire suite was ruined.

"I'll catch ya later little guy."

With that he strode out in a hurry to cure his hangover with the hair of the dog!
