Hey everyone. So, I do not like to get somber, but in this case I have to. As some might know, I have revealed that I have a family member who's been going through some respiratory health issues. I have probably only brought it up recently because I am an immensely private person, but I wanted to be prepared for this outcome.
So, long story short: said family member had some tests done this week. A chest imaging test and blood sample. Imaging found masses on their lungs. Blood tests came back today confirming the presence of cancer cells in their body. The way it was explained to me is that cancer cells create debris that flake off into the bloodstream and can been found on a specific type of blood screening.
So, it's with a heavy heart that I must give you an "until next time" for this LOA. You all have been awesome writers to work with. I've had fun, but I must (hopefully) understandably take my leave to help take care of my family in the path foforward.
