Fan Film Pointers?

So I've mentioned once before that my friend and I are doing a Star Wars fan film, which actually was the origin of this character. (Because practicing writing with a certain character for later use is fun). It'll be set in the post episode VI 'Legends' canon, but will be our own story really only mentioning the main characters of that canon. We've got the story all lined out and are getting ready for filming. Only a few problems.

A. We have very little software and experience in animation, so ships are kind of hard. We only need around 3 or four with only a few shots each, but we really have no clue how. And all we have is After Effects.
B. We're kinda limited on costumes. We have some things, but not really. What sort of things did Jedi go about wearing in the New Order?
C. We don't just want to reuse old Star Wars music, as it's our own story, but we'd still like it to sound Williams-esk. Where could we find some of that?

Anyways, thanks for any tips or help you can give. Hopefully, we'll be able to make this film a good one. ;-)

Sworn To Avenge My Ewokese Brothers To The End!
1. Well, honestly I can't do a damn thing with special effects so I really can't help you with that. But I can send you a whole ton of links from some guys that are ridiculously amazing with after effects and animation. Let me know if you'd want that.

2. Well, for the Jedi, I'm pretty sure just average cloak would work.

3. For music...I honestly don't know. At least anything that sounds anything like the work of John Williams. However, I can send you some songs that sorta fit the sci-fi setting.

Really sorry for the limited information.

When I did a fan film as the senior project for school a long time ago. My teacher said "if your plot is thin, acting terrible you can always save the film with boobs. Worked for Baywatch and look at lasted three series and something like 14 years." As for the rest jedi costumes are plain and easier, they sell the robes I believe for a decent price, special effect are really the hard one but after seeing Zombeavers where they did a lot with very little. Practical effects can be great. Music I got nothing much
