Shiraya's Odyssey

- The crystal bonds with a single Force-sensitive individual through a deeply meditative tuning process, enhancing their mental fortitude, clarity, and resistance to mind-altering Force abilities.
- When placed in a lightsaber, the Fang of Sa'leth produces a bright orange blade.
- These crystals are revered by the Ssi-ruuvi, who believe it contains the souls of fallen warriors.

- Unbreakable Resolve — The crystal significantly enhances the wielder's mental fortitude, making them highly resistant to mind-affecting Force techniques, including Sith illusions, mind control, and intrusive mental probes.
- Blazing Speed & Impact — The lightsaber blade formed from the crystal enhances the users ability to perform extremely fast sweeping motions and deliver devastating strikes with powerful penetrative abilities.
- Divine Fire — The blade is exceptionally stable, granting the wielder superior precision and control, even during extended combat.
- Incorruptible — Due to the crystal growing on top of a light side Force Nexus, the crystal is incapable of being bled or turned. Any attempt to do so results in the crystal fracturing and becoming useless.

- Cannot Be Passed On — Once attuned, the crystal cannot be used by another Force-sensitive unless the original wielder dies. The crystal then loses its attunement and has to undergo a lengthy reawakening process.
- Exclusive Benefits — The crystals abilities only benefits the one who attunes to it. If wielded by someone not attuned to the crystal, it functions as any other regular lightsaber crystal, with no special properties or abilities.
- Fractures Under Corruption — If a dark side user attempts to bleed the crystal, it will crack and becomes useless.
- Difficult to Find — The crystal is only found within the tunnels of Mount Skar'lak and obtaining one is extremely difficult due to the planet's hostile environment, unstable terrain, and Ssi-ruuvi guardianship.

These crystals, known as the Fangs of Sa'leth, are only found deep within the tunnels of Mount Skar'lak, forming when molten rock mixes with exotic minerals that then melt down within volcanic pockets sitting on top of a light side Force Nexus. Over many centuries, the volatile mixture solidifies and grows into crystalline formations, their internal structures imbued with an ember-like glow.
Due to the hostile nature of Lwhekk and the unstable region surrounding Mount Skar'lak — filled with boiling geysers, unpredictable magma flows, and seismic activity — it is very difficult to obtain these crystals.
Ancient Ssi-ruuvi legends speak of these crystals as remnants of an ancient divine war among their Gods. The general belief among the Ssi-ruuvi is that these crystals are filled with the souls of fallen warriors, their essence burning eternally within the crystal's core. To the Ssi-ruuvi, these crystals are sacred, a gift only meant for those chosen by the divine and believing that those who attempt to claim a Fang of Sa'leth and are deemed unworthy by the inhabiting spirit, will meet an untimely and violent end.
For an outsider to claim a Fang of Sa'leth, let alone survive the journey through Mount Skar'lak, is a nearly unheard-of phenomenon, though there have been various Jedi through history who have sought out these crystals and are thought to have even used them, drawn by their connection to the light side and the immense mental fortitude they are said to provide.
Such individuals are seen by the Ssi-ruuvi as vessels of divine judgment, the ones who walk with the will of the lost warriors, marked as "Sa'lethk'are", meaning The Fireborn in the Ssi-ruuvi tongue—a title reserved only for figures in prophecy.
