STRENGTHS

• Bulwark: Like many other mon calamari-designed warships, the Fanladi has multi-layered shielding which allows it to at least put up one set of shields in a given area even if some of the ship's other shielding systems are damaged or down.
• Mobile Base: In many ways, the Fanladi more resembles a spaceborne base than a warship: much of the interior is devoted to providing living quarters and logistical facilities to the hundreds of small craft and thousands of troops onboard. A single Fanladi can provide enough small craft and troops to take over many Mid Rim worlds by itself.
• Command & Control: The Fanladi has five separate bridges and multiple communications systems to coordinate all of the small craft and troops carried onboard. While one bridge is dedicated to running the ship, three of the other bridges are solely used by flight control personnel while the last bridge is reserved for use by the troop commanders.

WEAKNESSES

• Low Agility: The Fanladi is not a particularly fast or agile craft due to its size and the sheer bulk of passengers and cargo it carries.
• Weak Firepower: Designed primarily as a support ship, the Fanladi does not place a great emphasis on carrying firepower of its own, instead relying on its onboard small craft and troops to provide its offensive punch..

DESCRIPTION
The Fanladi is a dedicated carrier craft, providing a host of starfighters and legions of supporting troops to the owner's forces. Not only can it provide enough starfighters and small craft for a small fleet, but it carries enough troops and vehicles to take many civilized planets outright. Like many other mon calamari designs, the Fanladi's organic lines bely its exceptional durability: three layers of redundant shielding and thick, advanced armor plating make it quite capable of weathering exceptional firepower, even capable of lasting against much larger vessels than itself if handled correctly. But despite these strengths, the Fanladi isn't without its faults. Low mobility and relatively weak armament means that many opponents can outrun and outfight it (assuming they can escape or weather the Fanladi's starfighter complement) which almost always means that the Fanladi is accompanied by dedicated escort vessels.
