BEEP BEEP BEEP! Sounded the proximity alarm as the Night Vulture drifted above a blood red planet. Inside the ship was the battered remnants of the Knights of Ren whom had been drifting from the Unknown Regions following the Battle of Exegol as part of a final command from Kyrel before he enacted his plan to bring about the end of the galaxy. Unfortunately for the Knights this hadn’t come to pass only that they were once more without a leader. They wandered the galaxy unknown of how much time had passed and while they were left to silently mourn the death of one master they still sought to begin again.
Jaedec the hulking Gen’Dai Ren had been stirred out of a quiet slumber by the alarm. His visor was greeted by the sight of a red world above him and quickly the Knight would read the navcomputer. “By the Shadow… We made it.” He said to himself as if it was something he didn’t believe. He didn’t know how long it had been if it had been months or years since they were left floating out in space after barely surviving Exegol’s destruction. “What is it?” Asked what appeared to be a slim Zabrak garbed in the Knight’s of Ren’s black armor and gothic robes. His helmet reminded Jaedec of of the horned Mawdalorians no doubt gained in battle. “Dathomir… Xerkan we finally made it as the Master willed.” Behind the black horned helm of the Zabrak Ren seemed some type of confusion. “After all this time… Then we aren’t far.” Xerkan said as if finding a moment of clarity that came with his surprise. Jaedec let out a chuckle at Xerkan. “Yes, perhaps if we find the Holocron we can learn of Kyrel’s next move.” Xerkan seemed irritated in that moment. “How would the dead know what to do with the Ren?” Xerkan asked as if he didn’t care.
Jaedec only seemed more irritated that even in death that Xerkan would dare question the will of Kyrel Ren. His anger flared only slightly as he looked over the smaller Zabrak. “Because it is essential the Knights of Ren keep living. Kyrel would not have carried out his plan if not thinking of us first. He knew what would happen. This is why he instructed us to find the Holocron for we will know the way.” Jaedec said with absolute certainty. “As you say but I hope the old man will have something useful for us beyond the grave.” Xerkan settled with a scoff.
The Gen’Dai Ren would situate himself back into the pilot’s chair activating what little power remained in order to make it towards the planet’s surface. Jaedec would look back to Xerkan. “Go and let the others know that we are close.” Xerkan retorted with “No problem.” He said with a slight quip while Jaedec readied for what the world of witches and most had below. One goal in his mind was to find the next step but he didn’t expect what to find down there.
