Far Away From Home(Feena)

Cain sat in a cantina on the one planet he never thought he would go to. Coruscant. The only reason he was here was because he was looking for a man who owes him money. He decided to look here first, because it was the man's favorite spot. Cain bought himself a drink. He was going to enjoy himself while he was here. He just hoped he didn't run into any Jedi. He looked around. He couldn't sense any Jedi in the building, so he was ok for now. He watched as his drink was placed upon the counter. He took a sip, then sat back. He closed his eyes and relaxed.

Undercover. That's what she was. And oh, what a good disguise too! This particular cantina was one Feena would never have even considered stepping into. A terrible place for a lady!
But tonight, she wasn't a lady. Tonight, she was a dancer, hired out by this cantina for entertainment. A perfectly legal profession, as long as there were no slaves brought in, but not one that was typically accepted among the normal citizens of Coruscant, especially on the upper levels. And for a woman like Feena, a woman that grew up on that upper level, a woman that considered herself a Lady, this was truly more than she bargained for.

In her dressing room, Feena was applying make up and pinning her long black curls up with decorative pins. Across her forehead was a shiny silver headpeice, cheap gems dangling down the chain.
Did she look like a dancer yet? She almost asked the dancer applying lipstick at the vanity mirror next to her, but realized that it might blow her cover. She was supposed to be a professional.

"You seen the crowd out there?" she asked the girl next to her, adopting the best lower coruscant accent she could manage.
"Nothin' to worry 'bout," the girl responded, "The usual."

Feena nodded, and slipped a rows of thin silver bangles on her wrists. When she stood up, she jingled and made so much noise she was almost afraid they could hear her out on the cantina floor. Such a beastly annoying costume! The top was this horribly impractical crimson beaded thing that left her midriff entirely bare. Her bottoms were strips of sheer red fabric and a heavily beaded belt. How anyone could dance in something like this was beyond her!
If her husband saw her in this alone, no doubt he would be impressed, but to go out dressed as that? Her? A Jedi master? A member of the Jedi Council? It was beyond shameful!
But she had a job to do. There was a man out there that they needed information from and she was going to get it if she had to seduce it out of him!

Cain opened his eyes when he heard two men excitedly talking about a couple dancers that were coming out soon. Oh did he enjoy watching dancers. He took another sip of his drink. He got up and moved closer to the stage where the dancers would come out of. Finally some entertainment in this boring place they call a cantina. Oh was he going to enjoy his self. Cain took another sip of his drink, and put it on the table in front of him. He got up and walked over to the men who he heard talking about the dancers. He looked at one of the men and spoke "do you know when the dancers are getting on the stage?" The man looked back at Cain and said "in a minute or two" then the man turned away. Cain walked back to his chair when he noticed his drink was gone. Someone must have stole it. He didn't really care about his drink. He sat down and waited for the dancers to come out.

The stage director shouted out the five minute warning into the dressing room. Feena stood up checking herself in the mirror with disgust. This was no place for a Lady of her breeding.
She clipped on a sheer pink veil over the lower half of her face so that only her bright silver eyes were visible. The other dancers stretched and waited for their cue, but Feena was busy fiddling with the small recording device nestled in her top.
Then it was show time. The Jedi woman had been sure to veil her force signature, of course, but she forgot one thing- most cantina dancers were clumsy, untrained, no more than eyecandy. Feena was light on her feet, a natural dancer. One way or another, she would stick out.
She snatched up two sheer strips of fabric- her accessory for the dance and waited for the introductions.

"Gentleman! The moment you've all been waiting for! The magnificent, the talented, the ever tantalizing-" the announcer said that last bit with a suggestive wink, "Bodina Sisters!"
Of course, none of them were sisters. Sure, they would all pretend to be sisters, simply for the many perverts out there that were into that sort of thing, but none of them looked alike.

"Marina-"
A pretty tall blond dancer stepped out on stage first, dressed in a costume nearly identical to Feena's in blue.
"Teliana-"
A girl with dark chestnut locks and a yellow costume stepped out, striking a provocative pose for the audience.
"Lolita-"
The next to strut out on stage was the other blond girl that Feena had talked to earlier, dressed in bright spring green.
"And introducing for the first time, Miss Fiona Bodina!"

And that was her cue. Feena stepped out stopping at her spot in the front and slightly to the left. She tried to look sultry and mysterious, but in reality, she was fully uninterested in the audience at all.
"Let's give it up for these lovely ladies, gentlemen!"

Cain smiled as the dancers stepped out from behind the stage. He watched every one of them step into a line. He observed them all and picked out the prettiest from the bunch. It was the one named Fiona. She was very good looking. He watched her out of the corner of his eye while he went to go get another drink. He laid down some credits, and watched the dancers while he was waiting for his drink. He received his drink less than a minute later. He took a sip of it and sat down in his spot. The dancer were all attractive, but he had his attention on Fiona. Cain noticed a man standing at the bar. He looked extremely familiar. Cain walked over to the man. This was the man who owed him money. He didn't look like he was paying attention to the man, but he was. Cain kept his eyes on Fiona

The moment the crowd quieted, the moment the cheers died away, the band started playing. It was an exotic piece from the outer rim, one Feena was not familiar with except in the context of her dance practices. The girls twirled and shimmied, waving colored silks.

Feena swayed her hips, eyeing the audience in a way that she hoped was seductive, or at least not sickeningly. She was actually looking for someone.
Then she spotted him.Standing at the bar. Feena smiled under her veil. Time to make contact. She met his eye, winked and motioned with a finger for him to come closer to the stage.

And there, he saw, he was caught in the web. He was smiling foolishly as he approached the stage. Feena was on her knees, lounging at the edge as he approached. She giggled and threw her silken sash around the back of his neck, pulling him close. She leaned in and the rest happened in an instant.

On one of her many bangles was a spybug cleverly disguised as a gem. She leaned in, lifted her veil and gave him a brief kiss on the cheek, then she rose to her feet again. She slipped off that bangle and threw it out to him with a wink, which he caught with a proud smile.
Phase one was complete.

Cain watched as his target was motioned to Fiona. He probably thinks he is a lucky man, but not for long. Cain walked up to his targey and tapped him on the shoulder. His target turned around and Cain said "hey can you step outside, I need to talk to you." The man looked at Cain with a confused expression. "No, definitely not." Cain then added the force to his voice "you will step outside with me." The man's expression turned blank, and with an emotionless voice he said "I will step outside with you." Cain then started walking outside, and the man followed. He stepped outside into the dark moonlight streets of Coruscant. Walked to a back alley where no one would find them, and turned around to face the man. "You owe me 30,000 credits. I expect to get them, now" Cain had an evil look in his eye. The man slowly pulled out a hidden knife that Cain couldn't see and said "it's ok ill get you your credits"

The Eternal Queen
When the dance was over, when Feena went to collect the credits that were being tossed on stage with the rest of her 'sisters', she paused as she noticed her target leaving with a male. She cursed under her breath and left the stage. There was a back alley that she could get to from behind the dressing room. She pulled out the little communicator in her bodice and listened. now she could hear two voices.
"You owe me 30,000 credits. I expect to get them, now"

Feena knew that tone. Her target was about to get himself killed and Feena could not allow that. She hurried out the back just in time to spot the knife that he was pulling out from behind. With the grace and lightness of a dancer, she stepped out of the darkness, grabbed his hand and twisted it back.

"Don't you know?" she asked, unconsciously slipping back to her Upper Coruscant accent, "fighting on Cantina property is strictly against house rules."

Cain watched the dancer come out of nowhere and twist his hand back. He saw a knife in his target's hand. She saved him, that was nice of her. He walked forward. This was a very strange situation that he doesn't really understand. He is hoping to ask her what's going on, and maybe fix his confusion. He went over many of the different possibilities of why she was here, but none of them made sense. He smiled at Fiona, and said "can you tell me what's going on?"

The Eternal Queen
It then occurred to her that she sounded like one of the upper class. She bit her tongue, cursing herself for dropping her role.
"Just protectin' my job, s'all," she said, slipping back into a lower Coruscant accent once again, "Blood is hard ta clean, ya know?"

She watched the man at her feet, clutching his broken wrist.
"I should get 'im inside. We got a first aid kit. Sorry 'bout the trouble. Talk to manager, tell him Fiona sent ya. He'll reimburse you for your trouble."
Still dressed in her revealing dance costume, veil still covering half her face, she bent down to help her target up. She would help him, sure, after she questioned him.

Cain looked at Fiona "i'm not done with him yet. Don't worry I won't get blood anywhere." He smiled then walked right in front of the man. "You see, he owes me quite a lot of money, and i'm trying to get it from him." Cain looked Fiona in the eyes. He was now face to face with the prettiest girl he had seen in years. Cain's heart started pounding. The first time she spoke was more formal than the second time she spoke. It seemed weird to him. He was going to ask her about it.

The Eternal Queen
She wanted to curse out loud, but of course, a Lady didn't use vulgar language... in public. Would she have to knock this kid out to get him off? She didn't like to fight though. Such uncivilized behavior, but her mission was at stake! How else could she...
"I'm sorry 'bout your creds, but I really can't let you do what you're thinkin' of doin' because if I did and the authorities got involved, I'd lose my job, ya see?"

She sighed and tossed her silk purse on the ground full of the credits she had collected from the stage.
"If it's creds ya want, then you can have that. Ain't worth losin' my job over."

Cain looked at the purse on the ground. He smiled at Fiona "I would never accept the money of a woman like yourself. It isn't right." He picked up her purse and handed it back. "Oh yeah before I forget, when I first heard you talk, you spoke in a different manner than you are now. Can you tell me why that is?" Cain scanned her, looking for signs that would tell him more about her. He saw nothing, except for a nervous look in her eyes. Who was this woman?

The Eternal Queen
This guy was in her way. Any other Jedi undercover would have knocked him out by now. But it was unfortunately Feena, the greatest pacifist in the Jedi Order, that had been picked for this.

"I would never accept the money of a woman like yourself. It isn't right."
The corner of her left eye twitched. 'Woman like yourself', he said. Feena wanted to slap him for the implication. how dare he! She was a Lady! She was Feenarah Melodia- oh, no. She was just Fiona the cheap dancer now. She blinked it off and took the purse back, pretending to be gracious.

Then he said something that almost made her groan.
"Diffrent manner? I dunno whatcha talkin' 'bout."
She shrugged and turned around to escort her target back inside to 'see to his wounds'.

Cain noticed a bit of annoyance in her eyes. He knew there was something she wasn't telling him, and he was going to get it out of her. Knowing that backstage doors can't be opened from the outside, he used the force to close the one Fiona came through. He spoke to Fiona in authoritative voice "I want you to tell me why you need this man, and why you need to hide your voice. I'm not letting you leave until you do. The only way you can take that man into the building, is through the front doors, and I don't think you want to do that." He grinned. This was a good way to get her to tell him what's really going on.

The Eternal Queen
Feena really did want to scream. A force user! Here! She saw that! She sensed that!
But she didn't betray anything about her own abilities. But who was he? Possibly friend? Or foe? Would a darksider have the nerve to come here? She so doubted he was a Jedi. If he were a Jedi, he would have recognized her at once.

Feena calmly turned to look at him, but she pretended to show a flicker of fear behind her silver eyes.
"I d-don' need him from anything! Honest! I'm just tryin' not to lose my job! It's all I got! Please don't hurt me-"

She let go of the man and let him slip away. Her hands went to her chest in a pleading motion. she was giving the guy a chance to get away. she could hunt him down later if she had to and she had him marked with her bracelet. It would be annoying, but it was better than him getting killed.
Maybe she could use her feminine charm to win this guy over.

Cain watched as his target started running away. He spent two weeks going from planet to planet tracking him down. He wasn't going to let him get away. Cain pushed the man against a wall and held him there with the force. He turned to Fiona "just tell me what I want to know, and i'll let you go." This girl was really getting on his nerves. He scanned her again. She looked scared. She also looked defenseless, but looks can be very deceiving. He knows all about that.

The Eternal Queen
Defenseless. As defenseless as a cantina dancer could be wearing next to nothing! She couldn't carry a weapon, which was a shame, but she was good with hand to hand combat if hse had to. Still, Feena was hoping she wouldn't have to resort to that.
"Oh please, Mista'! Don't hurt 'im! He didn't mean it! I swear!"

Begging again. It made her feel sick. She was a proud woman. Begging was not something she ever did. She bit lightly at her finger, giving him a 'look'. It was not a favorite look.
It was a 'I'm scared and helpless, but oh so curious about you mister' look. And women who knew how to give that look well, were useless women. But in this case, feena had the feeling she might be able to use her looks here.
"Please.... if you let him go I'll do ya a... special favor."

rain21199

The One Horned Demon
A special favor? That does sound nice, but he isn't going to let this man go. "So tell me why you want me to let him go so much?" It was very odd that she kept asking him to let this man go. This man is important to him somehow. He might just have to use his importance to figure out what's going on. He looked at her. She did look stunning in the moon light, and the more he thought about what a "special favor" meant, the more curious he was. He wasn't going to give into temptation.

The Eternal Queen
She almost had him! It was so close. But no. He wasn't giving in. Still, she had one more thing she could do.
"I just got a soft heart, pumpkin," she purred crossing the narrow alleyway to him, "Let 'im go and I'll give ya somethin' better that credits."
She was close to him now. She went to lean against him, to run a finger down his cheek. She wanted him to look at her when she beat him down.
