Sanya Val Lerium

Neutral, Queen of Her people, Neko
Sanya had neglected her gunship now for the past couple of months. The engine had started to go and the hyperdrive was in need of an upgrade. She managed to sort some time out for her to finally get around to getting the ship in better condition. The engines would be taken out and replaced with better and the hyoerdrive was going to be swapped with a spare. Although this was by far no solo project and had some droids at hand to help. All of them with the vocalisor off. Quiet was useful and it helped her practice moving meditation.

With the tools at her side she slowly began to loosen the engine. It was strange to see the pannles of the ship not been on there. The ship looked practically naked. Pipes wires and all the other bits was visable. In a way it looked like it was the veins and arteries of it. That when the power was on letting out the roar of the engines it had a sense of life to it. Every so often she'd blank out into deep thought, and when she had come back to reality some how much more progress was made without knowing what she had just done.

It had been three hours before she knew it and the first engine had been removed. With it lowered some other droids began to pull it away on a big trolley. If anything it would serve as spears and repairs. The new engine she had ordered had came with thruster flaps to also increase the turning speed a bit. Still it was mainly speed she wanted out of this. Other ships could easily take this one and it was a worrying thought. Once more as the droids worked hard on the second engine Sanya would begin on the hyperdrive.

Bolt by bolt, seal by seal. The hyperdrive was slowly been dismantled and looked more like a pile of scrap dumped on the floor. The droids had now gotten the other engine free. Once more it would be lowered down for a trolley to pull it out the hanger. With most of the hyperdrive she can get to outside Sanya dropped down to walk up the rear ramp. Making her way to the very back she began to dismantle the rest of the hyperdive for the new one to go in. Although the new one would have to go in before the engines.

A sigh of relief would leave her lips. Her brow, back and everywhere else drenched in sweat. Sanya been consistently moving now for the best part of five hours. She'd not eaten yet and only had water to keep her hydrated. although the last part was about to come off. With it free Sanya wiped her brow and stood up. Her feet would carry her down the ramp and out the hanger passing by the new hyperdrive. "Make sure the work space is clear before I get back and then work on installing the new hyperdrive." She said to the droids that had patiently waiting for orders. As for now Sanya needed a lighter set of clothes and food.

She walked down the halls of the spire till she reached the elevator to take her up. Grabbing her com she patched into Maria. "Maria could you sort my food out and have it on my desk please." She asked as the elevator took her up. "Right away Mrs." The doid would reply. When she reached the top Sanya could see the Droid setting out her food. Although a change of clothes was needed first. Walking into her room she began to undress and pulled out some shorts, bikini top and a towel from her dresser. wiping her back, under arms and face to stop the sweat rolling down her skin. Throwing the towel into a basket Sanya would begin to get dressed again.

She walked out of her room then towards the desk with a full salad on. She wasn't in a rush to eat so she took her time. Bit by bit Sanya finished the salad. Along with the caffinated drink. Rising from the seat she'd walk to the elevator again to go back to the hanger. Every time she got in to go down it seemed the elevator would take longer. Then again it was rare she'd take the elevator as normally she'd take the speeder down to the hanger an load it into her dynamic. But today that would be unnecessary. The doors would swoosh open and all the parts of the old hyperdrive had been cleared.

The two engines and the new hyperdrive was almost in. Grabbing a tool belt Sanya walking into the ship to start wiring and fix the hyperdrive into place. Once more she would shift into moving meditation while she worked blanking out what she was actually doing. Wires had been connected leaving fixing it into place left before moving to the engines. Slowly Sanya would work around putting the bolts in and tightening them up. Under them was a new seal that it would push onto.

With the hyperdrive in place it was time to work onto the engines. Going down the ramp of the Gunship. "Winch it up." She said to the droids. The first engine would be lifted up into place for it to be connected up and again bolted in place. "You three begin underneath and you two up top with me." Pushing the force into her legs Sanya leaped up on top of the ship. Walk across it's top to the engine she would lay down belly first. For parts she couldn't reach she would use the force to grab them and put them in place. First thing was the power lines. They where the largest of the things to connect up. The other droids on the other hand was working on all the other wires. The other team of droids was already working on the second engine. It was much faster to put things like this together that take apart.

Slowly but surely the pipes, wires and all the other bits where soon connected up. It was the one good thing about droids. They didn't need to stop and didn't complain. They just get on with in. Although Sanya could feel the pain from leaning into the engine and repetative motions. But all in all she enjoyed doing this manually than letting big machines do it. It gave it more of a personal touch. She moved from off the top of the Gunship for the pannles to be put back onto it and bolted on. With her body aching a little she simply sat back with a bottle of water watching the droids Finnish up.
