SPECIAL FEATURES

Strengths:

• Anti- Star fighter: Designed to be point defense the FAW-3 has good swivel speed and rapid fire, good for taking on pesky fighters.
• Shell: With an outer shell of quadanium steel plating and internal shielding the FAW-3 is a tricky target to take out.

Weaknesses:

• Un-hard hitter; Though the addition of 2 FAW-2s that increases over all fire power the FAW-4 is still no designed for ship to ship engagement and should be be replied upon for taking out anything larger then a freighter.

DESCRIPTION
The FAW-3 is a prefabricated enclosed duel laser turret that can be attached to anything that can hold it, even over docking bays on the side of a freighter if need be. An internal elevator surrounded in a quadanium steel along with an integrated shield makes for a well armored turret emplacement.

Operational Use
The FAW-3 works best in an anti-star fighter role, but if you have enough of these emplacement on a ship or base they can be used to take out more heavily armored targets.

Defense stats
Similar to many turret emplacements the FAW-4 has a shielding unit inside it, in case the ship/base it is attached shields fail. In addition the shell like armor around it's side and back protects the turrets from fire not aimed directly at is barrel, which you do not really want to stand in front of anyways.
