CHARACTER BIOGRAPHY TEMPLATE
FE TSERIM
NAME: Fe Tserim
FACTION: Vran'Ti
Eternal Empire
RANK: Mekre'Kra (Grand Judge)
Former Deni-Gar
Owner of Tserim INC
SPECIES: Vran
AGE: 90
SEX: Female
HEIGHT: Varies (Typically 1.8 m)
WEIGHT: Varies (Typically 63 kg)
EYES: Varies (Typically gold or white)
HAIR: Varies (typically black)
SKIN: Varies (Typically black with golden or white designs)
FORCE SENSITIVE: Yes
STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES (Required: 2 Weaknesses Minimum) :
Vran Ven: Also known as the ‘Molders’ the Ven are members of the Vran capable of using their Vo (a force sensitive organ) to alter their biology to considerable degrees.
+Capable of notable shapeshifting abilities
-Requires considerable energy
-Can be permanent/dangerous if Vo or organs are damaged during shift
Vo Ni: also known as “Hands of the Soul” is the term used for force sensitive Vran by the Kakoran religion and most members of the Vran. Fe is not inherently the strongest in terms of raw power, but is still quite skilled. It is important to know the difference in rankings, she is not inherently powerful for a Deni-Gar, but they are already among the upper echelons of force users on her planet, with mostly individuals being ranked higher rather than groups. She however chooses to enhance her abilities through use of Kadabadi Organic Crystals for additional strength in the force, among other things, to make up the differences.
+Increased use of the Vo
+Heightened awareness/precognition/reflexes
+Considerable skill in Animal bond/control
+Knows “Vo Mon” (speech of the soul) Telepath/empath. She has a great deal of experience with this due to being a Deni-Gar for a long time, resulting in being used to communicating numerous minds simultaneously, sentient or non sentient. While this has increased her ability to force her way into minds, most of this experience is actually with very willing individuals, and digging deep as a result is not always reliable. Doing it on a mass scale can however make it difficult to do anything else, as a result often relying on others for decisions.
+Telekinesis (most common sub abilities). Notable strength.
+Witchcraft/Magic. Knows a great deal about unusual practices, some of these require more time or resources, while others are far faster but may be less effective. But they have all required a great deal of work. This was where her real interest mostly lied, she did not get to study as deeply as she desired, but remains a very knowledgeable individual. In place of her active knowledge, she often has sources which she remembers to locate. She is able to hide her presences in the force through this, but it is often temporary or may be easily knocked off.
-Fe actually possesses two presences in teh force, that of herself, and that of her Vo. This is a common issue with Vo Ni, since every member of the race has a Vo and may “Appear” as a force sensitive, but Vo Ni appear as two. To their own kind this is little surprise, but outsiders may notice it easier.
Chosen (mostly) the Path of Emotion. Fe does have a habit of attempting to use difFerent sides depending on the situation, but this is hardly a reliable tactic. And as a result the Path of Thought is often only used in private, even if she employs many of its methods in her use of the force.
Personal:
+/- Emotional: Her work as a deni-gar for practice and battle has resulted in an incredible amount of range in emotion. Having Felt many peoples thoughts and emotions in danger and death has caused her her own level of pain. On the one hand, this can certainly increase her power in the path of emotion, and allows her a considerable amount of empathy to her troops, however on the other hand it also can make it hard to make decisions that could hurt them and under the right circumstances make in-influenced thought difficult.
+Fe, as with many Vran and especially Ven, possesses a great deal of biological knowledge, but especially of course about the Vran body, and a select chosen species that are used to aid her physically depending on the circumstances.
+Fe’s considerable time in the military and in aiding in animal taming or investigations has aided her in respect and a fairly sizable amount of wealth. Most of this has been spent into farming and a personal military force,
+Like many Ven, Fe has made or makes alterations. One such tendency is that, especially around dragons, she is prone to having wings. She also tends to have ‘mass storage’ causing her to weigh more than she appears as she holds pockets of mass specifically for things that would require additional size or limbs, such as the wings.
+Increased her common strength in the force due to ingestion of dead crushed Kabadabi Crystals. On rare occasions she may inhale them, however this is not common due to its dangers.
-Relatively little martial combat prowess. Many Vran actually do have some skill in melee combat, however due to Fe’s focus on the force in her upbringing and work as a Deni’Gar this was mostly overlooked out of necessity. She understands it on a basic level and may be physically able, but she has none of the training for it. A strategy for her would rely heavily either on adaptations or the force.
-Like many Vran, Fe’s technological prowess is remarkably low, especially compared to their biological advancements which are on generally superior to the majority of races. While this has not cultivated a fear or hatred of technology, she does prefer nature
-Force enhancement gained from ingestion of Kabadabi Crystals would go back to normal if she stops ingesting it.
-Has to consume a considerable amount more food than most due to the energy it takes for performing the more notable shifts.
Common adaptations/shiftings:
Wings (typically feathered, may resemble those of dragons at times)
Skin designed to mimic devaronian increasing fire resistance greatly.
Sacks of matter to be used when needed
Additional digestive/immune system organs for greater tolerance of issues.
Environmental aids (situation dependent) such as gills, lengthened limbs, or additional eye lids like snakes may have.
Combative adaptations (dependent) increased muscular structur and bone strength, may take on Osorae traits in fullness or only in part, may instead lean more to devaronian in place however if rushed.
The Golden Tattoo’s
An abnormal use of Force_crystals inspired by the use of the Kabadabi crystals and desiring a longer standing effect. These tattoo’s are physically injected into her skin, which she intentionally shifts around and keep otherwise in place. They specifically aid her in her use of the force, but especially when she needs to be extremely focused such as when using telepathy on mass groups or during some of her magic, often causing them to glow in doing so. She is able to hide them, but rarely would do so, preferring their appearance and unique use. At times these can appear white.
APPEARANCE:
Like with many Ven, Fe’s appearance can vary considerably. In truth, her present appearance does not in fact resemble her original natural state. Altering her ears in particular to be longer and pointed. She additionally has ‘tattoos’, typically of gold or white appearance, across practically her entire body, and even in her eyes. This tends to glow when she is using the force in some ways. However, she’s able to change this appearance pretty much at will, and does so often for aesthetic purposes or practical reasons.
BIOGRAPHY:
Fe Tserim was born to both Ven parents, before the time of Nexus Krae as the Vran’Ti Vo Ni. Her force sensitivity would be noticed, and taken into account, during her upbringing. Having her trained in the many things she would be expected to know. Due to the anticipated lifespan of a force sensitive Ven, she spent a great deal of time training or working, and would be placed into the military where her abilities seem to be best suited, as a Deni-Gar. A telepath/empath focused individual, who coordinated large military forces, with a tactical aid making most of the genuine decisions, while she kept everyone knowing what they needed to know and often keeping them in as best a state as she was able. This was a taxing job, as it also put her in their shoes. Hearing their thoughts and feelings in the best and worst moments. Fe initially preferred the Path of Thought, however this situation proved her incapable of doing that most of the time, forcing her to shift her methods while maintaining some of her preference to the Path of Thought. During what time she had to herself, she also practiced more in aspects such as witchcraft and magic in place of alchemy, and like any good Vran, but especially Ven, had to know a great deal about biology. All this did come at the cost of martial prowess, but she considered the cost acceptable.
Fe did gain a habit of changing her form as she felt, though she more or less settled on one after she had her entire body injected with Force Crystals in intricate designs. She had already been in the military long before Nexus would rise to power, she didn’t challenge it, most never would. There were few who even dared to try challenging, and of those few even fewer succeeded. She was skilled, but she wasn’t inherently the most powerful. It was part of why she spent so much work on enhancing her power. With a lack of experience in physical training, but still a big part to play in the military, her force ability became all the more vital.
She spent most of her time in this job, though at off times doing investigative or beast taming work, resulted in a fairly sizable amount of experience as well as a good amount of wealth as she began to start investing that wealth into various additional sources, such as something as simple as farming, or to a much lesser extent, mining of the untapped resources on Vran’Ti. Although she preferred to make as few changes to the environment as possible, not an unpopular opinion, but still given little thought. The planet was already mostly just wilds, and it was likely best left that way to avoid the issues the Shgurak could pose if they had issues finding food. Still, as she no longer actively served in the Vran'Ti military, she expected to venture into additional routes. She still had plenty of time left she wanted to explore.
However, under the rule of Nexus, the Eternal Empire would settle around their territory, and without any fight back, Nexus agreed to join. It was not a popular opinion, but his power and position as the speaking for the planets soul was respected. Still, Fe couldn’t feel somewhat betrayed. She didn’t despise the Eternal Empire however, as individuals she might not see their power, but as a whole she saw clearly that fighting them would possibly be a tactical mistake. This sense of protection does not however quite pour over into her enemies. If anything, an opposition could receive worse consideration if they attack first, as it endangers those she would have felt that connection too.
She would come to make Tserim Incorproated, dealing primarily in medical technology but taking on animal training on a smaller level. Both this did require her to hire on aids, but this was a very minor issue for someone formerly working in a Deni-Gar's position.
With the disappearance of Nexus Krae, and the Eternal Empire's presence confusing and concerning many hands. Fe believed it time for a change. She gained allied Vo Ni to her convincing them that they had to accept that being the most powerful was not all it took to rule. There may be a place for such a person, but it was not on the throne. As their situation showed that it was not enough to be able to stand before the Vran'Ti Vo and feel it's power to speak for it. Fe and this alliance took over the primary powerbase of the planet as a result, and she took the head position. Despite her inferiority to some others in power, she had led them into order again. And she intended on maintaining her planets welfare.
