Felucia Hunting Grounds (Head Hunting Shamans)

The Knights of Ren sought to only have the strongest of the strongest, unlike the One Sith where they took any type of fodder into their ranks, to ensure a legacy that could withstand the test of time. Though my promotion was still a breath away, my training had no ending in sight. So when I stood before the First Order hierarchy, my mind bubbled with scenarios.

"Disciple, the time has come to see if you are potential or baggage," the Supreme Leader said through a long-distance holovid. "Rarely do we send a Hopeful so far from our reach, but the galaxy is changing and with such changes, so should we decide to join the crusade."

I hated being in front of the Supreme Leader. It wasn't the concept of him, or her, being in a pissed mood where his, or her, anger of misunderstanding could lead to my death. No, I hated bending a knee to anyone. Because as a God myself, I have issues bowing to the command of mortals.

"We are sending you to Felucia. You have but only one order.....kill the shamans of the Ext'oty Clan."

I looked up at the Supreme Leader and said, "Forgive my ignorance, but I thought the Ext'oty Clan where our allies."

"They are," the Supreme Leader said winking out.

Great. I hate jungles.

Many thoughts danced through my mind, but none more so than bringing my beloved Leena Tabyi along to this treacherous world. I could prevent my own death, my own safety barely, but bringing another along to this death infested jungle was almost to much for me to bear. Could I protect her? Could I spend enough focus between my mission and her, doubtful. Regardless of what I thought, the female of my species would not be wished away. She was coming, guns blazing.

Our tiny shuttle, and it was tiny, landed in a clearing minutes away from the massive dense jungle that swallowed up the Ext'oty clan. Our preparation into this odd mission rested on both secrecy and deceit. The clan, for all their wisdom, held strong to the notion that an alliance was still going strong between them and the First Order, which still made me unsure why I was here. The Supreme Leader never came out and said what was the reason for me to make the shamans extinct, but I was to see to the order none-the-less.

"Well, isn't this quite the romantic setting," Leena said as we stepped out of the shuttle. It was quite the romantic setting, minus the howling and screaming of death in the distance. Felucia was no vacationer's idea of of a good time, many things that hunted, stalked, and haunted the planet's surface could quickly turn any honeymoon into a frightful annulment. "Very romantic if you like this sort of thing," I replied gripping her right hand into my left, leading her down the ramp.

"Oh Clovis, this is such the perfect setting to start a family." My shoulders tensed in confusion. "Think about it. We could live here free of the galaxy's problems. And raise wonderful kids free from the political turmoil this galaxy has pissed upon everyone." Leena made a strong case, but I was a devout follower of the First Order, meaning it was my duty to piss on those that didn't see eye-to-eye with our political views. I loved Leena, truly I did, but she was far from understanding me or the First Order.

"There are many factors that need to be resolved before you and I can start a Eden of our own, my love." My words had sent a cold chill through her body, and I didn't need the guidance of the Force to see the shiver my words had caused. "In time, my love, we shall be free of the constricting Force and then you and I shall have our Eden. But first, duty calls."
