Awful.

He had forgotten how awful these type of weathers were, Felucia was horrendous. In that very same moment aboard the Ebon Hawk and sitting on its cockpit with his hands buried on his face, Ar'ekk started to regret taking the mission offered by Popara the Great.

"Meet with a contact at Felucia, you'll receive further instructions there."

The datapad read as he gave it a glance, trying to not miss any detail whatsoever. Looking beyond the cockpit window was nothing but a floral-like landscape that seemed almost endless.

The ramp opened and made way for the man to go down, holding tight to one of the metallic parts and taking a good look around. Whoever he was meeting should be here anytime soon, that's what he hoped, or he'd have to venture into the unknown to find him or her.

From the halls and hearts of a palace in Cocoon, Ashelia fell. But fell not in grace, for her mission and work, at the bidding of her father, she worked for scumbags, crime lords that took her a fool or a escort, and did dirty work in the name of her house. Something that would probably make the hairs in the old man’s head probably go wild, but, she had to do it. As it was said to her, a Solidor needed to put others above himself, they had to bring glory to their house, and had to do as told.

“Roger that, Continental. I’m already arriving in the location. Send me the contact of the Bounty Hunter.”, she murmured to the comlink. Walking calmly through the jungle in Felucia. A planet like no other, forests crawling with life signals, a whole living thing so powerful and wild that made her shiver.

Wearing a long, heavy cloak, made of armoweare, dark and weary. With a DL 18 Blaster pistol in hand, and dark boots, she pressed the comlink, sending a signal to the bounty hunter. Speaking in a calm tone of voice, with the wind blowing her silver hair away from her face.

“Huntsman, this is Baskerville. Waiting for contact, come in.”, the Hutt that hired them, was hired for somebody else, the job, for the man they hired, involved to find rare animals and take back to Popara. Such as two rancor, a Acklay, and four Vornskr, but, Ashe knew best, for she knew that the real reason was all about a dirty old compound, that had something the client want it. Something dangerous.

Into the depth of the Felucian jungle where the wild animals roamed free and the flowery-like jungle made your visibility almost null. He ventured deeper to meet with the contact, a commlink device held by his palm revealed a female voice on the other end.

Picking it up and speaking into the receiver, Ar'ekk replied.

"Here's Icebreak, Baskerville. I'm at your 0080 East, two steps."

They were literally two steps away from each other in opposite directions, all that was necessary to meet up was to venture through more annoying Felucia flora and they'd meet face-to-face.

Hopefully, the mission wouldn't last too long because he started to hate the weather and the planet even more.

Ashelia joined both eyes brows in a gloomy face. Either the bounty hunter was a idiot, or he was slow in the head, for not being able to read her position in the datapad. She snorted, leaving the place where she was and tracking his signal. “Probably another lazy hunter that old slug hired for the job.”, if one of them died, Popara would not have any need to pay them and would keep the money her cliente gave her.

“Now where are you…”, she murmured to herself, walking through the woods. Felucia was a pretty world, colorful and cheerful, filled with life. It reminded her of the old ways when she learned about the Force. “There you are…”, she said to no one, seeing the male figure standing near a big oak like tree. Slowly approaching, Ashe cleaned her own throat in loud sound, to make herself heard by the hunter. Saying out loud with a calm voice. “Greetings, i’m Ashe. You must be Poparas boy right?”

"Just doing this for the credits, not for that fat slug. I'm Ar'ekk."

He scoffed as she called him "Popara's boy". Felt like an insult more than anything and that annoyance was quickly expressed by the man but dissipated into the mist after a few seconds. Whatever the job was or who this girl was, she'd better be capable of carrying out such tasks or it would be the shortest mission of all time.

Stepping on some flowers on his way to greet Ashelia, Ar'ekk looked beyond her to see nothing but a deep jungle. The scent emanating from the air was putrid for him considering it was a dramatic change going from city sewage to jungle decay. Grunting would be the go-to expression from him today.

"Where do we stand, then?"

“The Queen is actually a great employer.”, Ashelia answered in a calm manner. Working for Popara was not as bad as it looked, she never made a move on her, or tried to eat her, and always paid her debts in due time. Once, Popara almost killed her, or came close to doing that, it was when she lost the intel Popara want it to a imperial agent, those bastards were a pain to get rid of. And she had to flee or start a war in the place she infiltrated. Or worse.

“My droid is currently mapping the area. But he knows of a Vornskr nest not far from here. And a rancor’s lair in the south area. So choose.”, when she looked at him, she finally realized, a very important thing that seemed forgotten. “How are you going to drag the rancor to your ship before he wakes up?”, those were real killers, Rancors could grow to immense sizes and were the galaxies most dangerous brutes. The Hutts loved them, and Popara always want it a big pet like that one, but Ashe could sense that the rancor was actually going to be taken somewhere else. A place where he was needed to be studied, or trained to serve his new master.

"Right."

Truth be told, their first encounter was nothing short of amicable. Not that he expected animosity from a Hutt but at least his previous employer Gorba had a way of appeasing him with gifts and skimpily dressed Twi'leks in exchange for his services.

Popara almost ate his head off and cut him short off money on a job that he had no idea to how to pull of and if he denied Popara's "offer", he'd be in deep bantha poodoo.

"The Rancor, I've dealt with their kind before."

Looking at Ashelia for a brief moment and scratching his forehead, Ar'ekk wondered the same thing. He was definitely not a hunter himself or someone classified as a wild life expert to think of a way to carry the beast back to his ship.

"We'll keep it drowsy by using the Force and hope it doesn't eat us. Put it in a big cage or something."

“You have faced a rancor before?”, Ashelia asked with a calm attitude. In her homeworld, there was nothing like rancors and acklays, it was a nice planet with very few predators. Except for dragons, but those were not a threat for centuries, thanks to technology.

Grabbing a big rifle from the droids hand. The elzeri rolled the leather strap over her shoulder, thinking to herself that maybe she was lucky. The rifle was a tranquilizer gun said to bring down even the biggest rancor in the galaxy, she hoped the propaganda was right.
“So you are a force user hm?”, she tried to be delicate com aquela questão.

Her mind, however, was thinking about the real purpose on going to Felucia. The reason she left her droid scamming the area inside the ship, the damn holocron. A thought she still held deep inside her mind, even as she started to walk in the direction the datapad showed her to go. Deep inside the jungle in Felucia, a world strong in the force like no other.
“Right this way, mister.”

"Just call me Ar'ekk."

When you come face-to-face with a hungry Rancor in a dark cave of Dxun you start to consider acceptings jobs like this one, even when they throw other deadly animals to the mix such as Acklays and whatnot. They were easy to tame but a pain in the butt to handle, so he hoped Ashelia had a gift for that otherwise they'd be in big trouble.

HIs eyes followed the ashen haired girl's movements as she picked up a tranquilizer rifle, the right dose of the "poison" stored in each dart would be good enough to give a big Rancor a good night's sleep for a couple of hours. Even then, if things went south and it didn't work, they could always handle the beast by using the man's so called "gift".

"I am. But I don't treat it like something big."

Felucia looked like the sort of planet where everything went wrong and it ended up looking like this, with a crappy weather and flora/fauna that screamed "Mistakes!" all over the place. The mission was simple and hopefully it'd end up soon so he could go home, hit the shower and have a glass of Corellian ale in tranquility.

"Lead the way, darling. You're the expert here."

“Don’t call me darling.”, she immediately answered, in a grumpy tone in her soft voice. Turning her back to Ar’ekk and going on through the woods, and as she walked past the trees, her memories faded to her childhood, when her father send her to be properly trained by the Enclave. Ashelia always remembered her teachings before sleeping, and always remembered her fate. For fate was relentless, or so it was said in the prays of Dios.

After walking down for at least half a mile, Ashelia could see the mountain growing before her eyes, and knew, at least could feel something inside the cave. When she stopped walking, Ashe leaned over a big tree, grabbing the sniper rifle from behind her back and loading the darts in the damn things. She probably looked stupid holding such a big gun, but who cared about?

“Hey, mister Sith Lord, why don’t you go there and serve as bait for the rancor?”, slowly raising her big rifle up in the air, with a bastard like smile in her lean lips. “I promise i will shoot him before he eats your face.”

"Fiesty one, I see how it is."

A laugh in the middle of the woods echoed through their sorroundings, not very smart to do when you're hunting an animal as big as a Rancor. Guess it comes with his fearless I-care-about-nothing attitude that Ar'ekk had or simply because he didn't care a little bit for the mission. Either way, he wouldn't leave Ashelia alone in Felucia while trying to hunt down and bring some very exotic animals "home".

"I though we stopped with the names, sweetheart. How about you go? Oh wait, nah. I got it, right?"

His leather jacket had gotten in the way due to the heat and humidity of Felucia, making Ar'ekk just roam around the dense wild floral jungle with nothing to cover his torso except a gun holster for his K-16 Bryar Pistol. Taming the beast would require him to attune himself with the Force and hope that it worked somehow.

"Do you even know how to shoot?"

(Speeding up the time and going solo due to los sof contact with player.)

She had to call backup, a small group of nameless mercenaries. Two man died against the rancor. The beast was a monster that had no problem eating them alive and needed at least four shots of tranquilizer before it finally cooled down, but the job itself was not a waste of their time, they found three baby rancors in the cave where it made nest. After storing the animal back in the corvette, Ashelia thought the damn thing would go easy, but they faced a lot of more problems when they went after the Acklays, no deaths this time, but one man lost his arm before capturing the animals.

‘And the Vornskr… never want to go against them again.’, the predators killed at least three of them before they captured six of them, and they still had to keep an eye for the other two lurking around their camp every single night. Queen Popara send her regards through a hologram, saying that she expected the cargo to be intact when delivered to her, but the real problem was not keeping the animals in their cage at the hangar, the problem was storing the Bull rancor in there.

The beast, if you can call it a beast broke a mans spine with a single punch. Eat the head out of another poor girl, and scared the mercenaries that almost fled when facing him off. She had to use the Force, the whole planet was like a amplifier to her skills, and when Ashelia concentrated kneeling in the floor and reaching out to control and calm down the creature, much to her surprise, she was successful. At least enough to make the animal more docile and walk without a single complaint to his cage, even pregnant, the animal proved highly intelligent to her, and hunting helped her made her way all the way to what she was really looking for in that planet. A old Consortium base.

“Tyber Zann… a legend of the Dark Times of the Empire, considered a myth in the Underworld. I’m walking to a place that has not seeing a living soul in almost a thousand years.”, the elzeri princess thought as she walked over the long bridge to access the old fortress, where the bull rancor made its nest. Blaster in hand, followed by her two droids and two mercenaries, Ashelia was excited.
