Moonage Daydream
It was hard to believe, wasn’t it, that Coren Starchaser was seen as a Master. Of the Force, of the Jedi, and a leader of one of the Jedi Orders the galaxy had provided. And even more, he was the leader of an army. Between those two jobs and helping the Alliance settle with the Outer Rim Coalition, he had a lot on his plate. But the thing of it was, he had more to do. Jobs he knew he could assist on, and stones he needed to turn over.
The Dark Side was great in this galaxy, Sith and lesser dark siders were becoming more and more prevalent. And that meant he needed to get his people moving. Jedi were seen as the enemy of the state for most units and worlds that the Alliance in Exile still assisted, still held some sway over. But for others? They knew that the Sith were not the Jedi, they understood the difference. And what had happened was that one Alliance patrol had gone missing. A small one, Corvette with some Special Forces. Missing, or just out of contact, either were still a concern. With Alliance personnel being a much needed commodity in the galaxy.
Once the Tachyon Rising was in hyperspace, Coren proceeded to the back of the ship. He had picked up a few supplies, and had pulled in one of the Jedi Padawans. They, like the Alliance, were a breed that were fading, and while sometimes new was better, Jedi were still protectors, guardians. And they were not doing their job sitting on their rear in the Temple. They needed field time.
“So, whats your story, kid?”
