Find Heaven's gift at Phriking Demonsgate [Barkt Ak'lya]

[member="Barkt Ak'lya"]

It had been not too long since Triam Akovin had established a temporary mining operation on the Moross world (by threat of force and unfortunate/unwanted bargaining), and just recently an order was placed for one whole kilogram of phrik. A far cry from the sheer processing power of the mining ships she had currently in place to dig out the hardy ore until they reached a literal ton of the stuff. It was part of a mind boggling massive order of current Chancellor of the Republic Popo the Hutt, who placed the order as owner of The Wheel and overall crime lord/business hutt. Of which once completed, would pay a whooping 100,000,000 cr for.

This guy just want an insignificant fraction of that. Because it was so menial, she decided to cut the guy a break and give it to him on discount. 20,000 cr, which was basically 43% off from her original 35,000 per kilo price. It didn't matter though, so long as he came soon and fulfilled a number of procedures to satisfy her. Basically random loops for him to jump through for her minor amusement of having to put up with the client.

She had sent him the coordinates and gave him the clearance codes that made the Moross recognize one of her ships around here. They weren't very friendly about her presence here and they were sure to kick her off as soon as possible. Which currently was as soon as she met her quota for extract one ton of phrik from the ashen earth of the hellish landscape of Demonsgate. So she sat in her ship waiting for that to happen.

The thrum of the X-57's engine was almost annoying to Barkt as he flew to the coordinates he had been given. The engines were almost wasteful compared to the ones that he was designing. I guess that's what happened when you let a spymaster design a starship, he mused. but his idea was, perhaps, more ridiculous than anyone had dared. Fighter armor made of phrik alloy. For now, until he found an easier way to get it, [member="Triam Akovin"] would have to do.

The code she had given him for clearence announcing his arrival, the Bothan sighed. What now, he wondered.

[member="Barkt Melan"] (sorry for the wait, the first days of school were pretty busy)

"Mr. Melan, it's good to see you've made it to my temporary mine on this hell hole." She said over coms, and as if she had read his mind she added, "Why don't you follow those coordinates I gave you and land so we can talk in person? I've had a crew of droids clear out an area for landing mining ships, but we can move on of ours out of the way for you. To be honest, we weren't expecting company until your order."

The drilling was about to begin again. They had about half of what they needed, while there was a growing pile of crappy rocks soon surrounding their little encampment. She damn near hated this world, if not for its riches and awesome majesty in threatening appearance. It was topped in that category only by Mustafar... or at least she's heard. It felt far fetch to her that anyone would visit a molten planet caught between two other high gravity celestial bodies.

Stranger things have happened though.

"Copy that, Miss Akovin, I will be with you shortly."

Slowly guiding the blockade runner down to [member="Triam Akovin"]'s location, he sighed. The responses from the ship were all well and good, but it could have been done better. Still, it worked for now. Until he could make his own ships, that was.

Landing where he had been told, the Bothan got out and looked around, only managing one comment about the landscape. "Some world."

A smile graced his faced as he addressed the woman with a bow, however. "Miss Akovin. A pleasure to meet you."
